  1. This is unverified but I've heard things regarding more AT&T LTE roaming getting enabled in this update.
  2. Hey all, got a carrier settings update to Sprint 28.4 today. Would recommend that all iPhone users head to Settings>General>About and hover there until it asks you to update your carrier settings. I've heard this update contains some exciting stuff...
  3. It's seeming like VZW is all over the place with their setups...I was hoping we could make a thread in the equipment spotting forum but looking at all of these different setups, I'm not sure how manageable it would be...
  4. Wow. Didn't think anyone would catch that but yes, actually. There was an Ericsson 5G truck at that very tower a few months back. Sadly the guys there wouldn't tell me anything other than that they were doing 5G testing though.
  5. Makes sense. So what you're saying is that recertification is going to happen soon along with some spectrum swapping up in Seatle?
  6. You're totally right - my bad! Have the Samsung PCS RRUs already been recertified though?
  7. Hmm...In that case, Sprint be doing some swapping with Verizon up in Seattle because they've got 20MHz of PCS B Block and 20MHz C5+G (right now that is). I do know Verizon runs a 5x5 LTE carrier in the PCS C4 block that is removed from the rest of their PCS spectrum… Also, when did Samsung equipment get recertified for 15x15 B25? And did the IBEZ 1900 only equipment also get recertified?
  8. I've had an iPhone 6S for a year and a half and encountered no problems. I don't think it's the network, rather a device issue.
  9. Not sure about Tidal but I haven't encountered any issues with Apple Music.
  10. I made that same switch about two months ago. Haven't had any problems.
  11. These are just Nokia Flexi Zone Mini Macros right? Or am I missing some other variety(ies) of B26 small cells?
  12. Yes, coverage is key and Sprint is currently filling coverage holes with B41 only small cells. Accordingly, VoLTE will need to run over B41 at times.
  13. Yeah almost every VZW setup here has 2-4 antennae per sector. There are very few one-antenna-per-sector setups. As for their setups that use four of the same boxy-looking antennae, I'm pretty sure those are just three sectors with high order MIMO on B13/4/2. All VZW macros that have gone up recently seem to be either four of the boxy-looking antennae per sector or two boxy antennae and two skinnier rounded antennae per sector. Here are links to what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/8JYJ6FI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/e3Myrsc.jpg
  14. Ok so I had a chance to drive around today and get pictures of each of Verizon's common setups in my area. I wasn't able to get good pictures of the RRUs at every site although the antennae are clearly visible. When I have a little more time, I'll head back and try to get close-ups of the RRUs as well as better pictures of the connectors on the antennae. Here's what I got Also, in the images of the tower with a every major providers' equipment, Verizon is second from bottom. EDIT: I moved the images to imgur because Dropbox seemed to be displaying them in low quality
  15. I have thought the same thing for a while. Apparently B41 small cells are coming to certain unnamed towns in Minnesota that currently have no Sprint service……
  16. Ah. Thanks for the clarification. I am an iPhone user so this is not my area of expertise.
  17. Yep. 2/4/5/12 (and maybe 17) are in there for roaming purposes. If you want to prioritize that I'd probably say 4>2>5>12/17.
