  1. Someone else with more expertise regarding android might be able to chime in, but I think that if you call Sprint and get your MSL code, you can change band priority on your phone…
  2. AT&T roaming has been reported by many users. I am one of them. Here are some other links if you're interested: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2861-network-visionlte-georgia-market-warner-robins-macon-i-75-corridor/page-6 http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1486-network-visionlte-south-carolina-market-columbiagreenvillespartanburg/page-45 http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/7603-htcgoogle-pixel-and-pixel-xl-users-thread/page-5&do=findComment&comment=503075 https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/comments/636jum/att_roaming/ http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6319-marcelo-claure-town-hall-meetings-new-family-share-pack-plan-unlimited-individual-plan-discussion-thread/page-1024&do=findComment&comment=504304 This list of reports is not exhaustive although it should give you some idea that this is indeed happening. Talk about expansion into Montana and the Dakotas comes from inside Sprint and I cannot talk more about that.
  3. I think the word you're looking for is throughput, not bandwidth (in most markets B25 is 5x5+5x5, 10x10 of even greater whereas B26 is always limited to 5x5 or 3x3. What device do you have?
  4. Yeah I'm hoping Sprint starts to take advantage of more of those rural carriers for Extended LTE (pseudo-native LTE roaming)…
  5. It looks like Sprint will be going with AT&T for LTE roaming. We are already seeing it now. There is talk of some expansion in the coming months/years into Montana as well as the Dakotas although I don't think those decisions have been finalized yet.
  6. Awesome. I'm going to head out this weekend and grab a few high quality pics of sites in my area as well. Hopefully we can compile a few more and get the thread started.
  7. I believe that Sprint is working with JWMaloney on a new coverage map although I'm not sure if that is purely aesthetic or if it includes the actual coverage displayed... Also, I remember reading somewhere, maybe on reddit, that Sprint was looking at implementing some sort of customer verified map in the coming months.
  8. Hey all, Since we have equipment spotting threads for both T-Mobile and Sprint, I thought it would be a good idea to add a thread regarding how to spot Verizon equipment. I am under the impression that Verizon only uses equipment from two vendors: Alcatel Lucent and Ericsson, so I don't think it would be too hard to set a thread up. If anyone has pictures or more expertise and would be willing to help, that would be great!
  9. So it looks like Ericsson's equipment is ready to go as far as B25 CA goes...wonder when we'll start seeing B25 CA in Samsung and Alcatel markets...
  10. There is a lot of confusion as to what is happening between Sprint and AT&T right now. If you could post engineering screenshots and the location where you hit AT&T roaming that would be great.
  11. Yep. They mention that they have the right to terminate service if a majority of your usage in any given month is roaming.
  12. Exactly. On the coverage map, coverage listed as "Extended LTE" will count towards your on-network data allotment. Coverage listed as "LTE Roaming" comes out of your roaming allotment. The point I was trying to make is that *I believe* that all of Sprint's LTE partners are Extended (and thus usage on their networks comes out of your regular data allotment) except for US Cellular and maybe AT&T.
  13. Unlimited now though because they're Extended. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that Sprint's only LTE roaming partners are US Cellular and maybe AT&T now (we're still not entirely sure what's happening with AT&T)…
  14. I noticed that too…I'm surprised they aren't allowing us to use any lowband LTE - I know rogers has B12/17 and B5 LTE live in most of Canada...
  15. Yep. The full list of plans is here under the question labeled "Is Sprint Global Roaming limited to certain plans?" https://support.sprint.com/support/article/FAQs_about_Sprint_Global_Roaming/8fc1976f-831b-44a4-ab93-d1b3c36c39a3
  16. I did the US-15 drive a few weeks back and was also incredibly disappointed…especially because Nextel covered that highway pretty well…
