  1. That would not have been doable because Sprint's BRS/EBS spectrum is not paired. Additionally, Sprint can adjust their B41's time configuration to be more generous uploads at any time. They are choosing not to because they don't see the need to.
  2. I saw this earlier. I think it's about time - this promotion was not bringing in much money and reducing revenue per customer leaving Sprint with less money to spend of network improvements. Hopefully good will come from this.
  3. I would. There is a large amount of Extended LTE (LTE roaming that comes out of your regular on network data allowance) as well as LTE Roaming (where usage comes out of your roaming allowance) that uses Band 12. I would also enable bands 2, 4 and 5 if your device supports them because they are also in use.
  4. I'm sure you'll be able to. Shoutout to Tim for confirming the LTE airave release will be later this month!
  5. I'm about to leave Atlanta now. Overall my experience in the area was pretty good. Band 25 is limited to the single G Block carrier although they have three B41 carriers online (at 40978, 41176 and 41374) in most areas and two separate B41 carriers (at 40072 and 40270) for small cells. Speaking of small cells, I came across a few on the west edges of the Georgia Tech campus. The handoff between the small cells and surrounding B41 macros was a bit messed up. Sometimes my phone would hop from B25 to the B41 macro network and sometimes it would hop from B25 to the B41 small cell network although I couldn't seem to hand smoothly between the small cells and the B41 macro network. A little bit of work is probably needed there... I drove out to Suwanee to visit relatives and service was good there and back. In the city, things were good although I did have some service problems in a few Georgia Tech buildings. It seems like they could use a site or two on campus. The airport is the only other big issue. The DAS here needs to be upgraded to support B41 because the B26 and B25 5x5 carriers are not cutting it - even basic web browsing is pretty slow. Overall a positive experience. I was excited to see small cells on air and hopefully deployment will continue as the year progresses.
  6. I'm in Atlanta right now. I haven't yet seen any B25 other than the 5x5 G-Block carrier although I have been on B41 and B26 for the most part. I'll keep my eye out and let y'all know if I find anything though!
  7. Oh. I'm heading there for business tomorrow. Just thought I'd look around. Hoping to find something although I probably won't if you haven't and you frequent the area.
  8. Please see 4 posts up. 1x800 and B26 are broadcast from the same equipment so all 1x800 sites are B26 capable. If 1x800 is live, then B26 will probably follow shortly ????.
  9. I will be in Detroit on Friday. I'll let everyone know if I'm able to pick up any B26 or 1x800!
  10. Hmm. I would email my area president if I were you. Mine has been enormously helpful, receptive and reactive to my communications.
  11. Nice. Are there pictures of the B26 small cells because the thread name suggests there are although I can't seem to find them?
  12. Never mind, it's all good. Left him a few comments on his youtube video and he corrected himself pretty quickly and politely.
  13. B12 is split into 3 6MHz FDD blocks, the A block (728-734/698-704), the B block (734-740/704-710) and the C block (740-746/710-716). If Appalachian is running a 10x10 B12 LTE carrier, that means they must own at least two blocks. The EARFCN, 5120, equates to center frequencies of 740/710 MHz, suggesting that they own the B and C blocks. This means only the A block is left over for either AT&T or T-Mobile, so in short, yes, Appalachian using B12 means less B12 for everyone else.
  14. All good don't worry about it. I'll have to have a chat with the owner of that youtube channel though...
  15. No I do not make videos…if someone else is claiming credit for my posts in their videos, could you could provide me with a link to their videos because that would be much appreciated…
  16. No I did not. This was in Los Angeles. I did state that quite a few times. Please do your reading before making false claims.
  17. I made that post. 8140 was a 10x10 in the A block overlapping with 8109 which was a 5x5 in the A block from a different tower. They did not come from the same site.
