  1. This is a Verizon issue I have experienced and I’d guess that it’s unrelated to the Airave.
  2. Hey guys, Sprint’s coverage map received a big update today. USCC roaming is now extended! Additionally the map is now full screen. Native coverage now appears to be more accurate (at least in my market) as well as detailed. Take a peek and see for yourselves!
  3. It’s the same deal with Bell/TELUS. Same network different brands. There are only two nationwide networks in Canada. ROGERS/Fido and Bell/TELUS.
  4. Sprint does not have a tool to break down usage day by day except for calls. That being said, from what you’re saying I would guess that USCC roaming was not counted towards your usage. Apps refreshing in the background tend to take up a few megs for every 10 minutes or so. I’d guess the roaming that is appearing in your usage was accidental quick roaming on VZW 1x/EVDO (or possibly but unlikely AT&T LTE).
  5. We’ve had a ton of reports of USCC usage not counting towards people’s roaming data although there has been no official announcement from Sprint. Out of curiosity, how much data did you use? How much is reflected in your usage report from Sprint?
  6. That has been possible since B25 CA’s initial release...
  7. It is a change in the download to upload timeslot ratio on B41. Config 2 changes max speeds on B41 to 112.5 mbps down and 8.8 mbps up.
  8. Maybe minimally in fringe areas although not much...
  9. These are all still speculation. No official announcement has been made yet
  10. Unsure - but it’s definitely live. B2 shows up about as often as B25. Yes, but AT&T and Verizon have 5x5 lowband on top of 10x10 lowband, often aggregated together, providing effectively a 15x10 or 15x5 pipe. And T-Mobile’s 5x5 B12 is old news...
  11. Here's a quick summary of the competitive landscape post spectrum swaps in the greater Seattle area: AT&T: - 10x10 B12/17 - 5 MHz B29 - 5x5 B5 - 20x20 B2 - 10x10 B30 Verizon: - 10x10 B13 - 5x5 B5 - 20x20 B4 - 10x10 B2/25 (MFBI is live across the market) Sprint: - 3x3 B26 - 10x10 (soon to be 15x15) B25 - 60MHz B41 T-Mobile: - 5x5 B12 - 20x20 B4 -10x10 B2
  12. We are primary in Cleveland and Canada is secondary, hence the usual channel. 5x5 will eventually come to all areas where we’re primary, if I remember correctly.
  13. Good news: the VZW/Sprint spectrum swap in the Seattle market has finally happened. Now Verizon is running a single 10x10 PCS LTE carrier and Sprint has enough contiguous spectrum to turn PCS LTE up to 15 MHz FDD. On an unrelated note, Verizon turned 5x5 B5 LTE on market wide this week, squeezing all of their CDMA into just 5 MHz FDD.
  14. It’s 3 MHz. In Syracuse, we are secondary and Canada is primary. That’s what’s with the abnormal EARFCN (8775). B26 will remain 3x3 for the forseeable future in markets where Canada is primary and we are secondary.
  15. You’re usually looking at sub megabit speeds. That being said, pings are low and lightweight activities like web browsing work pretty well - miles better than Verizon roaming at least. Streaming video is usually a no go.
  16. Yeah. I caught word that there is a big update coming to the coverage map this October so fingers crossed ??.
  17. This is beginning to sound really promising. I’ll see if I can drive out into US Cellular territory in the coming weeks and duplicate your experiences!
  18. I don’t have an Apple Watch, but to answer your question, yes you can make calls over Sprint’s network. Calls are VoIP.
  19. I was also under the impression that site would be in the town of Wall. And the closest planned site to Wall in my maps is in New Underwood... Wish we had some eyes out there.
