  1. LA, San Francisco, perhaps a few others. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/wendell-cox/americas-densest-cities_b_5888424.html
  2. SoftBank doesn't use CDMA or EVDO in Japan. Only (au) KDDI does.
  3. Lol that's the conclusion that I came to around a decade ago!! On topic, does anyone have any idea of the subsidized price? I'm interested in this phone, but I have NO intention of paying $700 for it. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  4. Holy crap! I remember the cold from my years in Michigan, but I don't ever recall cold quite like that. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  5. -50 wind chill? Instead of a remote starter, I'd be saving for a RELOCATION! [emoji33] Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  6. http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/t-mobiles-legere-if-customers-try-sprint-and-dont-it-theyll-leave-and-never/2014-10-28 To the surprise of nobody who has been paying attention.
  7. Indeed. They lost $94 million, missed on revenue by ~6% and EPS was -$0.12 vs. an expectation of +$0.05. They are up in pre-market so far though. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/personal/2014/10/27/tmobile-third-quarter-earnings/18037517/
  8. Yeah, only one site anywhere in that vicinity. Sprint's CCA/RRRP partner VTel may provide some 4G relief in the area by the middle of next year.
  9. I wonder what s. ali, Dougie, Fabian and the rest of the T-mobile circle jerk crew had to say when these layoffs were occurring: http://seattletimes.com/html/businesstechnology/2020664139_tmobilelayoffsxml.html http://seattletimes.com/html/technologybrierdudleysblog/2018212122_broad_new_layoffs_at_t-mobile.html Layoffs are an unfortunate possibility when working in corporate America. Shame on those moronic shills for using a layoff to try and push their silly agenda.

  11. You're referring to Proxtel. However, there's a bit more to it than that. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  12. Cool article. The translation through Google was rough, but it got the general gist across. It sounds like the island is going to get a nice capital infusion and more autonomy. That's a good thing as long as Miss Eaves is a competent executive. A 6% market share is sad especially how hot and heavy they were with Network Vision there in the early going. Getting 2.5 GHz there will really give the speeds a boost. Getting the 800 MHz mess there straightened out will really help with coverage. Hopefully they have a plan in place to get the squatter situation resolved with the FCC. I'd also hope that all of the capital won't be spent on just San Juan and it'd be nice if some of the hyper aggressiveness trickles over to the USVI as well.

  14. I think that's a bit unlikely as Golden State Cellular was acquired by VZW earlier this year. [emoji17] Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  15. While some might see that as a photocopy of T-Mobile's move, I still think this could be a great idea.
  16. Right. And what's going to be the story for people in every other city that isn't announced as a 'focus city'? I can just about imagine what the flamingo will be saying when he pounces on this.
  17. The "Wifi Calling Experiences" thread? If so, in skimming it I saw one person mention call drops within their wifi coverage area. In your mind that translates to "often times"?
  18. Humility in a CEO. How quaint... Hmmm I don't know how good of an idea it would be to make such an announcement. Everybody wants transparency, but whenever they try to transparent about their plans it seems to get used against them. We'll see.
  19. Often times? I had never even heard of such an issue. Is it really that widespread of a problem?
  20. Perhaps I missed something, but reading this here: http://bgr.com/2014/09/10/t-mobile-wifi-unleashed-announcement/ Except for the iPhone, didn't T-Mobile already have this?
  21. To be fair, NO carrier can guarantee inside coverage in every home. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
