  1. Nothing shows up on my s8 latest update. Are those EARFCN used at all in the real world? They can be hidden if they are not possible.
  2. They don't show up in other apps either. So it is a Samsung issue. Even though they would be great to have.
  3. Trip I would not use the word mistake because we both don't spend alot of time in Richmond. So not enough data but if you don't want a little 2 now will be the time to say. I have no preference as long as 10x10 is there my brain will think 11/12/13. And I probably won't even see the 2.
  4. I connected to a few 01/02/03 going through a couple days ago. Need someone i market I guess. They may not have come from the sams site. I will try and look at my logs again tonight though.
  5. Samsung markets do the same thing look at dkyeagers post above. Like Pittsburgh does not use the "3rd carrier" for 10x10. But some markets use the "3rd carrier" to show 10x10. If you are near Richmond VA sometime you will see it. Some markets were reporting B26 but they were seeing the 10x10 11/12/13.
  6. Same as far as I can see. Thoughts on if/how Triband (B41 4th carrier) should be listed?
  7. Small cells may be in more places than you think. Not sure what you are defining as "markets" if it is cities or our definition of markets. A lot of markets (the term we use as sprint markets)have small cells. Just think Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati all have small cells. Those can't all be "main" markets I know the Pittsburgh market had a lot of GMOs that just started getting LTE.
  8. Can any one check their PLMN and see if it changed to 310470(Shentel) from 312190(nTelos).
  9. No rootmetrics subtracts from sprint score because of upload speeds. So it is not a given it will rank high. It is nice to read the small cell and 3rd carrier reports though. Just wish there was a map to see what areas were updated and how.
  10. Do you mean sectors used to ID Bands?
  11. USCC counts against your roaming. The good news they are sometimes slow to report to sprint your usage. So you may be able to go over the roaming limit. At least I was able to for a weekend then two days latter I get an email about hitting my limit and roaming was blocked.
  12. Yes we will. It's cute that Mike thinks we don't have an alert set up to track his posts. lol But AgathosAnthropos if you have coding questions just throw them out some one may be able to help.
  13. 2.4x-3x (3000/1000=3) Why future proof corn fields or low usage areas? They are still adding 8t8r if needed in an area. Also adding a 3 sector mini macro adds upto 600 Mbps capacity to the area.
  14. They do going up 23. I don't know about Detroit that is why I said " Maybe sprint does not care about Detroit"
  15. Maybe sprint does not care about Detroit. They have B41 with CA on every tower except 2 going up 23 from Toledo to Saginaw. It is strange that "only a few" were updated on your route when 23 is only about what 15 miles west of Dearborn. Also the 1% is based on a report of user usage meaning anything above 7 Mbps means nothing to the report because 1080p video only goes up to 7 Mbps on most streaming platform. It is mainly a "Can we service are customers." report. If you have issues with the claim you can talk to Nielsen about number of people and area of testing done. But most testing will also have those problems.
  16. Half of it may have been in the sunlight It was in the corner of a plastic pool storage bench and a bluetooth speaker. The angle of the sun would not put the phone in full direct sunlight. It was a cool day and nothing else that sat in the full sun was even close to the heat coming off of it. The Bluetooth speaker sitting right next to it covering the phone some from the sun was cool to the touch. The only time I have had a phone get that hot was years ago when it was plugged in and I was watching video with full brightness.
  17. Auburn is in a different market but they do have B41 there. Well Opelika to be more specific to where I connected to it. B41 in AL I believe will be hard to spot because SCP most likely will only show "Sprint" due to them being Nokia mini macro. Also for those asking for a ban or have post removed just add them to your ignore list under your name on the top right. I haven't seen anything bad just long winded and off topic a lot of times.
  18. Sprint has had small cells in NYC for a while now. They have had 200+ before the start of the year. Uniontown PA <10,000 people and Norwalk OH <17,000 are big areas? They have a sprint small cell. Sprint small cells are expanding people are just not looking for them out side of Columbus and one person in NYC.
  19. Any one else have there phone start shutting apps off due to heat? I had it outside listening to music over a Bluetooth speaker music not charging or plugged in and the screen was off. Then the music shut off I went over and I had a heat warning the phone was super hot. It is not even 80 here so I did not think it would overheat like that. I just thought that was neat and didn't know if anyone experienced overheating not plugged in yet.
  20. Looks like they are. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/7688-how-to-spot-mini-macro-on-macro-setups-nokia/?hl=%2Bnokia+%2Bmini+%2Bmacro
  21. 4A9EC31 looks like a nokia mini macro. Nokia mini macros are popping up in other Florida markets too. In cities like Daytona Beach, Palm Bay, Fort Myers, and Naples.
  22. I did not see any B41 in the Lexington area of Columbia north to the east side of Lake Murray. I did see another possible tower in the Hollywood Hills area north Columbia(022A2831/022A2932). I also picked up 022A3431 going up US-21 which is a good distance from where I found 022A3532 which was between I-77 exit 10 and exit 9. The PCIs are one off so strong connection that they are one site somewhere covering at least 3 miles in each direction(~6.8 miles in between the two points). So I have 022A0731/022A0832/022A0933, 022A2831/022A2932, 022A3431/022A3532 so at least 3 sites in my logs so far.
  23. Yes because it was all small cells not just 70 ft one that are shorter than freeway lighting. That meeting was about what small cell should look like. And the people have spoken none at all even attached to poles already in the ground. There are a few in Baltimore city on Pratt rd are 1 or 2 should be more. I just went down a few roads with street view. I should add I don't know who the small cells are probably crown castle.
  24. They can't really stop them for health reasons because the FCC says they can't. Just like the FCC says they can't deny wireless if they already allow other technologies like wired even below ground. Small cells can be hidden pretty well if the city tells them what is allowed in their areas. Even though the mobilitie site by me would go unnoticed in 90% of the neighborhoods I go into. People will still complain and towns will still try and stop them no matter how they look. These magic boxes will bypass that whole process.
