  1. I didn't use any hdr settings just point and shoot and that was it. Which one do you think is the evo? I will add more photos tomorrow, I was just outside trying out some night time shots and my evo basically showed an all black screen with no viewable picture while the One was able to gather quite a bit of light from no where and was able to take a photo in almost complete darkness. Granted the photo was grainy as hell but I was still amazed at the fact that it still took a relatively decent picture given the extremely limited amount of light.
  2. Photo's from the One versus the evo http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/p523/themuffinman75/2013-04-20145321.jpg http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/p523/themuffinman75/2013-04-20145316.jpg
  3. I am really liking the HTC One quite a bit, sense 5 is so smooth and blinkfeed is pretty useful as well not to mention the stereo speakes are phenomenal. I can't really say much about the battery life yet since I can't seem to want to put the phone down. All in all, the One may not be as "feature packed" as the s4 but the One is one hell of a polished device. Oh and yes, the camera is pretty damn good.
  4. Finally been able to relax myself after a long day of running around and playing with my One, I just sent you a little "something something".
  5. Well every single phone has some sort of death grip, no way to escape that. The way I naturally grip the phone when in use hasn't seem to affect the signal in any major way at all.
  6. It should be on your next bill for sure but in any event, you could always call customer care and they should be able to credit you back the activation fee.
  7. This is definitely not the case at all. Well I have done some extensive real world testing today and I can assure you that the htc one is miles ahead when it comes to lte connectivity. I had my girl drive me around town today to run some errands and I got to say that I am very impressed with the One thus far. For comparison, I also had an evo lte and a gnex and I got to tell you that the One did not drop lte connectivity at all especially in areas I knew my evo would have an issue. I really don't know what to say in your case but I am impressed in every way so far.
  8. Finally made it back home with two brand new htc one's. These phones are really nice and so far lte seems to be connecting just fine. There is a Publix grocery store next to my sprint store and every time I go to the back of that store my gnex will continuously stay connected to lte while my evo will drop down to 3g 100% of the time. I made sure I was able to duplicate the same thing this morning before I went to sprint. After I left sprint I went back to Publix and my One stayed connected to lte just fine no matter where I was in the store just like my gnex. Again, nothing scientific here at all just real world experiences. Anyway, I am about to put my evo on my gnex line and retire my gnex for good. If anyone has any questions then let me know.
  9. Anyway, in the mean time while I wait, I am playing with the display and so far rsrp on the one far exceeds my evo as well as the evo on display and the gs3 sitting next to it. I know this isn't scientific by any means but it looks like we might have a winner when it comes to lte performance.
  10. I don't think they do but I am making progress with the manager.
  11. I am so pissed, I am currently at the sprint store and they won't sell me one off contract. Waiting to speak to the manager.
  12. Just got home from the airport a few hours ago, I will definitely be donating first thing in the morning.
  13. This is too funny, before I read what you typed all I was looking at was the tower. I would have never noticed the shape of texas if you didn't mention it. LOL
  14. I will move my evo lte over to my other line to replace my gnex then add the One to my main line. I will be able to do a lot of comparisons between the two on friday.
  15. Actually the Design 4g does have a sim but of course its for international use.
  16. Had a few minutes to get away from preparing tax returns to get updated on this new offer from dish. At this point I think Dish is more bark than bite and this deal will go no where so therefore I am not worried at all. The softbank deal will go through just fine in.
  17. I wouldn't even waste my time even giving it a chance.
  18. The other day I noticed a "beats pill" commercial with Nicki Minaj and the guy in the commercial was holding the One.
  19. The issue is more than likely backhaul related, but it shouldn't be that much longer though.
  20. Like what AJ said, there are a couple towers that still aren't complete around the airport area. Every where else in atlanta(at least the areas I frequent) has consistent lte coverage and thats both on my gnex and my evo and the speeds are decent with it averaging around 10 to 12 mbps.
  21. I am not gonna lie, I prefer the silver color and thats what I am getting, my girl also prefers the silver as well so I'll be getting her one also.
  22. Come on, I live in atlanta and I am averaging about twice what he is claiming. Besides, running speedtests at the airport probably won't give you the best results anyway, after all hartsfield jackson is the worlds busiest airport which averages a quarter million passengers every single day.
  23. Since the initial upgrades here in the VI voice service as improved quite a bit but today its been nothing but drop calls or no service all together. Hopefully that's a sign of good things to come.
  24. Bro I am not gonna lie, I have never read such a comprehensive review in my life, it was more along the lines of a dissertation than a review. Every other review pails in comparison to what Brian did.
