    It really would depend on the store. Do you have another phone you can activate? That would at least eliminate whether something is wrong with your phone or your account.

    Not sure what else I can really add but by chance do you or have you used google voice? I've had a few issues with google voice in the past where it caused all sorts of havoc on one of my lines and sprint couldn't do a thing about it since it had to be fixed on google's side.

    I think at the Sprint PR news conference they mention that the VI should have lte by june.

    I can't replicate it with the One at all under any condition from any angle, all I get is a light/dark/rainbow effect but again I can still see everything perfectly clear. I have experienced it with other lcd screens though, like the monitors at the airport when checking for flight information, with the glasses on I can't see anything at all.

    Well maybe you have a defective unit, who knows but there will always be that small percentage of users that will have issues regardless of what type of phone it is. I bought a One and Gs4(both on release day) and both performed the same when it came to real world rf performance. I ended up returning the gs4 because of how it stuttered when using the device and this is with all the added features turned off. I may just end up getting a used note 2 which is still a better device than the gs4 anyway or just waiting for the note 3. Exactly, no issues at all except for the occasional issue with the capacitive buttons which has been addressed with the last update. I wear polarized sunglasses on a regular(helps with my migraines) and I do see a slight rainbow effect on the screen but I can still see the screen perfectly under any lighting condition.

    I hate to sound like a typical sprint rep but maybe it really is network vision related. When NV was in full swing in atlanta my evo and gnex at the time were going haywire. Service on both devices were horrendous, data went from insanely slow to virtually non existent, drop calls increased and I was definitely not happy but I toughed it out until I started reaping the benefits of the newly upgraded equipment.

    Well that sucks, I have known other people who had issues with their evo's to get it swapped out for a gs3.

    I would suggest trying another store.

    The phone will still display 3g even when on 1xrtt only, so at that moment even though your phone says 3g you are not connected to evdo. I can't recall how it is on other devices but its been that way for the one, evolte, and evo 3d. If you're rooted you can flash custom mods that will address that issue.

    Been very busy over the last two weeks but honestly my One has been performing beyond my expectations regarding 3g/4g reception(even in poor signal locations) and battery life. No major complaints at all.

    Whatever? No one was arguing with you, just simply making a correction. Also keep in mind that if you respond with a certain tone then don't get upset or offended when someone else responds to you in the same manner.

    Do you realize that you can roam on 1x(voice) and still be connected to lte from sprint? It isn't possible for a sprint phone to roam on verizon's lte network, you need to accept that.

    It really shouldn't be too long at all, there is a leak of android 4.2.2 with sense 5.1 over on xda.

    Please, for the love of god, lets keep this thread on topic. Any off topic posts should be kept to the extreme minimum, anything else, we have a designated area for that. Also, if someone says something you don't like there is no need to go back and forth thus derailing the thread even more. If there are issues, there is a report button for that. What does his screen name have to do with anything? Come on dude, chill out. The purpose of this thread is to talk about network vision as it relates to NY, not a place where you come to hang out after school because you have nothing else better to do with your time. Yes, threads will get off topic once and a while and that's normal but if for whatever reason you or anyone else wants to talk about something else then there are other forums and threads for that, don't do it here....simple.

    Its likely that you are at the very edge of whatever lte signal in the area.

    10 to 15 megs is over kill for a mobile device, there isn't anything you can do on your phone that will require that much speed.
