  1. You might want to trust me on this one, sprint has never had any sort of 4glte/4gwimax service in the virgin islands. This is 100% fact. Let me ask you though, what type of phone did she have?
  2. This is an amazing story, nothing like making a kids dream come true while having to go through the type of ordeal he and his family is going through. We all need to be thankful for what we have.
  3. Don't know what to really say but this is absolutely not true at all, sprint has never had any sort of 4g in the Virgin Islands......ever.
  4. Who knows what the actual criteria is but I do know how things work in the virgin islands and trust me when I say that compared to you guys in Puerto Rico and on the U.S. mainland, the virgin islands is damn near the level of a third world country when it comes to any sort of technological advancement. Sad but 100% true.
  5. Would make sense if stx got it first, they did get their 3g nv equipment installed first not to mention they have less towers and less congestion than stt so I wouldn't be surprised if they get lte turned on first.
  6. I am using a basic crystal clear tpu case on my mines, it protects very well and you can still see all that sexiness that is the htc one.
  7. LOL, why not just close it now?
  8. Exactly, this makes absolutely no sense at all. I just don't see this happening.
  9. This I definitely don't believe, I still think this phone will only be available in the area's the J Butterfly was released.
  10. Well for the most part that particular crew working there are clueless but that's expected. I mean they are there to collect a paycheck and to do what they are trained to do and that's it. You won't find too many wireless enthusiasts or tech heads working at any carriers store location. The manager and assistant manager aren't too bad though but the rest of the staff is worthless. I don't mean to come across so negative towards them but I have had way too many bad experiences dealing with those people and if I have no choice but to go to a store I try my best to wait until I get back to atlanta before doing so.
  11. Thats just garbage but I guess the gs3 is still selling great while the evo has long been forgotten.
  12. Well I would blame the VI goverment, because after all these years its only now that they are investing in the islands infrastructure. Nothing in the VI works as intended so I can't even be mad at sprint for this. Every time I come to St. Thomas I have to deal with bad sprint service, then when I consider switching to at&t I am reminded by at&t customers that the grass is definitely not greener because they want to switch as well. All I can say is thank god I don't live there but its tough since I am there for business all the time.
  13. I really don't know what the cause of these issues are but I am not surprised, nothing ever works right or goes over smoothly in the virgin islands and like I have said many times before, I knew puerto rico would go pretty quickly but the VI will have lots off issues.
  14. I am not on the island but is anyone experiencing any outages or crappy service right now?
  15. I think most will say that it will run circles around the evo when it comes to lte performance, hell what phone wouldn't. As far as compared to other phones, I find that its just as good as other phones when it comes to lte. For a few days I carried both a gs4 and a One and both performed exactly the same when it came to connectivity.
  16. Same here as well, happened to me a few times.
  17. Well for the most part the towers are ready its just that backhaul needs to get installed. Not sure what exact issues they are running into though. As far as your "hook up" I pray to god you not talking about anyone working at the lockhart garden store.
  18. Yeah, thats probably why they decided to disable it in the final product.
  19. I think you are right, but the second led was disabled all together and I think it was originally designed to be a notification for wimax. There were a few kernels that enabled it to be used for other things.
