    I think the mini might be released around the same time or soon after since some info about that device has leaked already as well. The max version probably won't be until the end of the year.

    Looks like someone's kid got a their hands on one of their parents pre-release m8(no way this is the actual person who signed an NDA). This kid is annoying as all hell but at least you can see what the device looks like.     You can easily get a brand new lg g2 on ebay for well under $300 but if you gonna use an upgrade then I would say just get the gs5. Edit: Actually, upgrade or not, I would still get the g2 over the s5. Overall I still think the g2 is a better device even being several months older than the gs5. Its just that I wouldn't waste an upgrade on a g2 being that you can get brand new ones at reasonable prices.

    There are a lot of mixed feelings about this but for me personally I liked it a lot, definitely better than that RDJ fiasco.

    Yeah, they will announce the device on the 25th but they should definitely find a way to release it before the gs5 is available. Its bad enough that most people think that samsung dropped the ball on the gs5 and to make it worse its not releasing for another month and a half after it became official. This is a huge opportunity for htc and I hope they don't find some creative way to f it up. Right now there seems to be a lot more hype for the m8, if this device can deliver with polished software and excellent hardware along with the camera working as intended then htc should be in the drivers seat. They need to make a huge announcement, advertise it as best as they can and make sure that it comes to market while its still hot and being talked about which is within that two week window after its officially announced. I really hope they have all their supply issues squared away unlike last year.

    My one no longer stays connected to lte when I am on a call. My girl wanted my Max so I gave that to her and took her One to use for myself and that one doesn't connect to lte when I am on a call either. Looks like both are having some sort of antenna issues. I wonder how many people are having this exact same issue? Yep.

    Well don't get use to it because the svlte days are long gone being that all current and future tri-band devices doesn't support that functionality.

    Well htc is suppose to make their announcement on march 25th so if they can release with in two weeks at the most after that then I think they will be in a great position. They won't match the gs5 numbers but they should be able to steal just enough thunder to far exceed their own forecasts.

    Also, I can't stand the fact that they announce a device now but it won't be available for another month and a half, why? This makes absolutely no sense to me at all. I don't know how many times I have said this but this is one thing apple always gets right. They make an official announcement then its released with in the next 2 weeks at the most.

    Well it depends but in the case of samsung then yes, it does make a difference and thats because touchwiz is such a resource hog. Look at the One with sense 5/5.5 compared to the gs4 with touchwiz, the performance between the two is night and day. Now don't get me wrong, the gs4 is a great device but once you start using the One you will easily be able to tell the difference between the two. Samsung tried to compensate by using an overclocked s600 but in real world use it was no where near as responsive as the One. A device like the note 3 is probably the best multitasking device on the market and I can assure you that things would be running as smoothly if it didn't have 3 gigs of ram.

    Yeah, my dad was about to pull the trigger on a note 3 on att but I told him to wait and see what the gs5 will have in store and honestly this has got to be extrememly disappointing to a lot of samsung fans. Anyway looks like it will be the note 3 for my dad.

    Not even remotely interested in what I am seeing from the s5. At this point, other that it being a tri band device the s4 is definitely a better buy than this.

    For the most part no but if you are rooted you can flash a different radio that may improve performance but results will definitely vary so you will have to flash them all to see which one works best for you.

    Yes, I carry two devices regularly. Either the n5/one or the n5/one max. When it comes to lte performance there isn't any other device on sprint that comes remotely close to the nexus 5. I also had the s4 for a couple of days when it first came out but touchwiz was just too frustrating to deal with so I ended up returning it.

    For what its worth, the rf performance on the One Max is actually pretty good compared to the One. If the rf performance on the new m8 is at least just as good as the One Max then I will be very happy with that.

    Looks like the lone tower in St. John just got upgraded to 4g which is great for the those in the red hook area.

    I think just about everything that has been "leaked" so far are all fake. I do think that this one, which is also a render, is the closest to how it might look.
