Yeah I just got the s7, and didn't even look to see if it was root-able because I have rooted all of my phones previously. Gotta love when the US version has a locked bootloader, and Samsung hasn't given a way to unlock it for dev's, and users.

I'm pretty sure sprint had/has half of the was In East texas. But they sold it to AT&T I thought. Not showing up as all ATT'so on the face spectrum dashboard though. But they have those 3 different bands of lte active.
-
No AWS for AT&T here. There is a 10x10 block held by Atlantic wireless though. The other held by AT&T was sold to Tmobile years ago IIRC
-
They already have Band 2, a 5x5 carrier in the GMO sites here in eastern texas, south of tyler. Band 12 is active around I 20 east of dallas, and band 4 is at 15x15mhz. Compared to verizon with a 10x10 700mhz, and 15x15 band 4. Att is killing is with a 10x10 in Band 2, band 12, and at least a single 5x5 block in band 5. And I want to say band 30 is here, or almost here. Sprint is running 2 5x5 band 25, and a single 5x5 b26 carrier.

So far in the engineering screens. Cant say Ive seen it elsewhere. SCP shows the frequencies used. At least the beta version
-
Also if any one noticed the 6.0.1 update now shows the LTE bandwidth MHZ. Nice touch

Has anyone noticed in the ##3282# menu under edit, and LTE it has LTE roaming option? As well as CA settings. I am aware the CA are probably on all 6.0.1 samsung models, but will not affect this at all. But the LTE roaming one maybe a bit interesting to see if it has any use on the s5.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-s5/general/sprint-gs5-android-6-0-t3336758 This maybe what you are looking for. Sorry I do not frequent here as much as I used to but I hope this helped. Edit: Just rooted mine in a few minutes time just by following those steps, Flash TWRP in Odin, right after I went straight into recovery to avoid Stock Recovery being reinstalled. Then installed SuperSU, rebooted, then Xposed. Do note once I installed Xposed it took a little longer to boot, had to go through the whole "optimizing apps" screen

I can't say Ive had an issue before with that, But I can not say Ive ran into the issue on 6.0.1 yet either
-
What bug is that? Cant say Ive seen any issues with SCP on 6.0.1
-
No issues with the roaming. Immediately connected to verizon roaming, and I feel like I am getting LTE alot more frequently out in the fringe areas.

I thought metropcs was the first with an LTE network?

Help!!??? Someone well-versed in network admin
Destroyallcubes replied to jonathanm1978's topic in General Topics
Do side by side comparisons of routers software traffic meters to ATT's traffic meter. As well as I though Xbox one ( if you have it) detailed your monthly usage if that's your inly device using thr 2nd line. Also swapping the routers to the different DSL line would be a quick way to tell if a router is the issue or if its a mistake on their end. One test I did on ATT wireless was my Mom got overages when here phone wasnt even on , so turning Line 1 Modem off for a day or two and see if it reports data on those days. Easy test there -
Band 4 showing up
Destroyallcubes replied to vitodonuts's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
My s5 shoots between other carriers LTE, mainly band 25, 26. No data but shows it under the engineering screens -
Im just curious, when and could Sprint actually sue John legere/Tmobile for slander/defamation? Especially if facts are scewed to be untrue in a sense? Twitterand certain internet sites could be a source of what causes business harm against sprint. Im not very familiar, but have heard of it happening before.

Might keep an eye out for the new Motorola phone found in the FCC database. Quite large, but has b41 CA
-
Yeah I am seriously debating an LG G4 for my next phone. The g2 I had was really nice. The nexus 2015 may also be a choice if it has b41 CA, and is cheaper than the nexus 6.
-
Did you try the suggestion I said? Would be worth a try. I know with WiFi calling on, and it worming, then stops working I have to turn it off before I get calls and text, might be something similar in your case.
-
Yeah, he could try removing wifi calling from his services, and have it added again might fix it.
-
But his phone wasnt on wifi if I read that right. Just toggled wifi calling in, but not connected to a wifi network. I find sometimes with wifi calling on, and it connected to sprints network, text and calls do not work. Turning off wifi calling sometimes fixes it.
-
Um I was under the impression it would ha e the #allin tag, as well as it would be released on the 30th, which is tomorrow, so no it isn't by my books.
-
Basically all you did was change the Scan priority. It will search for B41 first, then B26, then b25. The network decides which Person gets which band basically.

The Mystery (Sprint) Signal
Destroyallcubes replied to EntrepreneurKid's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Yep exactly. Sprint could easily expand into the area with the NGN project. one 1x800 channel, 1 1x1900 channel, and an EVDO channel, plus LTE 1900/800 would get them customers sick of high verizon/ATT bills. And Tmobile doesnt exist out here, so they could get more subs
