  1. I work at a service and repair center and we have around 40 of those LTE 3FF SIM cards and had them for a while. My recommendation is to go to one when you can and request one before your device arrives so you have it handy. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  2. Those don't authenticate LTE either. They're just placeholder SIM cards. However if the SKU is the same as LTE SIMs then I don't see why not Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  3. If you feel comfortable PM me your number and home address and I'll see what I can do to get the proper SIM cards sent to you. It's slow at work right now lol Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  4. The problem with cutting a 2FF SIM down is that it may not authenticate LTE since those aren't LTE SIM cards. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  5. The CSR reps will know this SKU: 760492013536 3FF That is for the LTE micro SIM that will work on the Nexus 5. Make sure your order shows that. If it doesn't you need to change your order. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  6. Here's the SKU you need. SIMGLW206R. This is the SIM I'm using when I get my Nexus 5 Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  7. Ugh apparently I suck at editing. Ignore this post lol...can't find the delete post in tapatalk
  8. Have any of the reps at the store refreshed the network settings on the account level? It has helped me tremendously in some situations when I troubleshoot weird network problems for my customers. *edit* it is known internally as a "device refresh" and is something tech support through customer care can perform for you. 9. I'm not as knowledgeable when it comes to the technical details of the 4G LTE rollout, however the term "4G completion" I used was in reference to 4G LTE. From my understanding the maps you are looking at with the different colored pins do not reflect WiMax Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  10. Purple denotes 4G completion and yellow denotes 4G and 3G completion on a tower Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  11. Yes sir. ##DEBUG# and no password or MSL was required. Found that to be interesting. Engineering is spelled correctly to boot. Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  12. Here's one of me actually connected to LTE Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  13. No idea what I'm looking for in the screens but here's a couple of screen shots of what I could find. Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  14. Just switched to the Moto X from the iPhone 5. Among all the devices I've used in recent history (which also includes the GS4 and HTC One), I noticed this to have the best LTE reception and call quality. This thing grabs LTE in more places and the signal strength is typically 2 to 3 dB stronger. Awesome... Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  15. Living near Seattle, I don't believe I'll be seeing much 800... I wonder if Sprint/Clear will deploy more widespread 2500/2600 to help offload 1900? That would be awesome. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Can someone remind me what the prerequisites are for placing an HD call? I know you need two HD voice capable devices, but what about on the network side? Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
  18. Sprint reps know the sim card as an ICCID. If your replacement phone came with a new sim, you can get the new sim activated yourself at sprint.com or at a store. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
  19. You just rename it to "Update.zip" and flash it in recovery right? Edit: Figured it out. That's the right procedure. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
  20. Nice! Any new features on the device or overall speed improvements? Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
  21. Is it a patch for the "Android exploit that affects 90+% of Android handsets"? I say that in quotes as I read that on a few blogs here and there. No internal documents regarding an OTA for the Sprint GS4 that I've seen yet. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
  22. Hey can you post some photos of that CF? Been thinking about picking One up, but not sure if it makes Sense. Awww whut Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
  23. HTCandroid is referring to the app installed on most Android 2.3 and up devices which show you items downloaded from the browser Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
  24. Dang, making me double think picking up the ONE. I was going to go pick it up tomorrow...I wonder if the commuter otterbox would have the same affect. This always happens with the Incipio Dual Pro Shine. I've had them for the iPhone 5, GS3 and HTC One X and they all dropped signal performance. I think the brushed aluminum is real which would attentuate signal. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
  25. I had this same exact problem when I was on VZW with an HTC Thunderbolt. On LTE (with good signal and speed) anything Google related and bit.ly links would work at a snails pace. When I manually flipped it to 3G, everything worked fine. When they exchanged it to a Droid Charge (all the Thunderbolts they sent me had the same problem) the issue went away. My theory at the time was perhaps there was a problem with how LTE handles IP V6.0. And possibly has something to do with how it converts it to IP V4.0 for your handset? To this day I still don't know what was wrong. [Edit] I forgot to mention that out of 3 VZW stores I visited, all the demo Thunderbolts had the same problem with Google services and bit.ly links
