  1. What is RAM? I feel like I’m missing something. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The tower that serves my old store... it’s all grown up now
  3. Recently assisted a customer with doing a domestic unlock for her iPhone 6, and it was a quick process. No resetting was necessary. I saw her Sprint iPhone pick up T-Mobile LTE after we got off the phone with Sprint International. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  4. Just once with any battery you have. Preferably a Samsung branded battery
  5. If you're experiencing random rebooting or powering down, try this: With battery at 100% type *#0BAT# (that's a zero) in the dial pad. Unplug phone and then click on "quick test" and the screen will shut off and come back on If battery shows 100% after the test then you're good to go. This re calibrates the battery which the new updates messed up. 90 percent of power cycling Note 4's I've seen come into my work has been fixed this way and it doesn't require a hard reset to complete! Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. As long as you're paying for TEP ($11/Mo. Insurance) you're good to go for a replacement regardless of warranty status. Bear in mind the first 2 repairs/replacements in a calendar year are free. Any subsequent repair/replacements would be 25 dollars plus tax. If you aren't paying for TEP, in-warranty and out of warranty replacements are 75 dollars plus tax. Hope that helps Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  7. It just charges via the cable. I tried this at work already lol Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  8. Post update results seem good. Placed a couple of Wi-Fi calls, and have been browsing reddit and listening to music without issue. For the first time ever, the screen has taken the top spot as far as what's consuming battery. I'm pretty sure that's how it's supposed to be. A noticeable improvement in battery stamina and the device hasn't gotten very warm at all. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  9. Software update available for the GS7. Go and grab it while it's hot! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  10. Perhaps the lack of HD calling on the S7 is related to having Wi-Fi calling enabled. If I understand correctly, the iPhones are having a similar problem when those users have it enabled as well. What's interesting is that both the GS7s and the iPhones can't currently transmit or receive sms over Wi-Fi. I wonder if that has some correlation. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  11. Not happening in the near future in West Washington, unfortunately Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  12. Happens on a lot of phones, actually. If you open the camera app and shake the phone it should rattle less if not at all. I'm guessing it has to do with the auto focus since a lot of phones without OIS rattle as well. Edit: never mind I saw that the rattle was figured out in another post. Carry on! 13. They give rough estimates on when certain upgrades will be complete per tower. This is assuming that Sprint has immediate plans for any given tower. It will usually say "3 months" or "TBD" if it will be a little further out.
  14. CA is in more places than you guys might think here in West Washington. I work for Sprint and now can finally look at all Sprint towers/upgrades/tower performance on my mobile instead of having to be at work using the intranet site. This definitely satisfies my desire to constantly check areas I frequent, and will be a tool I'll use to be a better contributor to this community. For obvious reasons, I can't post any screenshots here, but rest assured I am seeing lots of CA sites on the map. Also, after taking a near 1.5 year hiatus on Sprint service, it is such a relief to be back. Verizon just wasn't for me. Too expensive and the network, although good, wasn't worth the exuberant amounts of money per month. Sprint has made so much progress in such short time, and I am very happy with the overall network performance lately...plus my employee wireless discount is obviously a better choice financially. It's good to be home again!
  15. It happens on my Note 3 as well. I don't know if it's all devices or just Samsung in particular. It never happened on my M8. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
