  1. Last year they had applied for quite a few of them inside the Vegas City limits. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  2. I'm excited to hear about all the new features. I'm really looking forward to iOS 7 when it's released this fall. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  3. You mean the same as the PCS G block? Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I can only imagine how the Viper may have left a bitter taste in your mouth. However, things tend to be very different with high-end, flagship devices, Josh, which your Viper was not. That's why I always advise others to spend the extra 50 or so bucks and get a flagship phone, such as the Optimus G/G2. I sure hope you are right, because I've noticed how much better Samsung has much better update cycles overall. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  5. If you want to deal with lack of updates, then LG is the way to go. The Viper I had barely got updated to Ice Cream Sandwich about 7 months or so after release. Pathetic compared to other devices. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  6. I always thought the EVO LTE takes the cake there. It's not perfect but what exactly makes it "one of the worst"? The CDMA baseband? RF performance? I mean I've had mine over a year and have my complaints (keep in mind the GNex was introduced a year and a half ago), but honestly not sure that assessment is entirely fair. As a former GNex user, I will agree with Digiblur's assessment. I'm on number 3 as the 1st 2 overheated. As a result, I went and got an iPhone 5 and went back to iOS where I came from when I switched to Sprint. When (and if) the Tri-Band GS4 comes to Sprint, I will get one, but nothing less than a flagship phone for me from now on. Not to mention, that crappy VIA Telecom chipset drove me crazy at home where my signal isn't the best because of the extremely large trees in between me and the closest Sprint tower. 7. A Sprint first phone is always good! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  8. I hate to start rumors, but this looks strange and legitimate at the same time. http://ameblo.jp/povtc/entry-11551006735.html According to this site, the SPH-L520 could be the S4 Mini for Sprint, and may only have LTE on PCS. We will know for sure when it hits the FCC. Also, the L520 passed the Bluetooth SIG earlier this month. https://www.bluetooth.org/tpg/QLI_viewQDL.cfm?qid=20981
  9. Nope, the network in the NYC metro belonged to T-Mobile (Omnipoint). Cingular (SBC-BellSouth) was a national operator but had no native presence in NYC and several other major markets. AJ Ok. I get it now. Thanks for clarification. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  10. That was true only in part and only on the West Coast. AJ Really? I understood that New Jersey and New York were included. Guess the info I read back during the Cingular/AT&T merger was wrong. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  11. There is only one national roaming partner for T-Mobile and thats AT&T and they are not playing ball. Years ago T-Mo had a roaming agreement with Cingular IIRC. After the Cingular/AT&T merger those agreements were allowed to expire. Cingular and T-Mobile were in a network sharing agreement in California, Nevada, New Jersey, and New York. When the AT&T Wireless merger occurred, Cingular gave up their part of the partnership to T-Mobile. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Shot gun Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  13. I will be glad once this merger is over. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  14. Eh, AT&T is still deploying new GSM as we speak. AJ Idiots! Will they ever let go of the past? Don't answer that please. I know they won't. They are the re-incarnation of Ma Bell. And they are trying to repeat the past and re-control the telecommunications industry. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Now we wait for the last 2G based technology chapter to close: GSM. Hopefully in the next couple of years. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Maybe it is a P-P-P-PowerBook! https://encyclopediadramatica.se/P-p-p-powerbook AJ I finally had a chance to read that sitting in front of a hospital waiting for a friend to be discharged, and I've got to say: That's totally hilarious! The scammer deserved it! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  17. I was able to pick up and connect to LTE on my Galaxy Nexus and it's on seasonal standby. Can't use data on the phone even with LTE. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  18. Well I guess I'll be keeping an eye out on my NID as I travel California and Nevada. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  19. I wonder if they are going to do this all over the country in the end. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  20. Very suspicious when they are offering last years 13" Retina MacBook Pro for $282. But one thing that gets me is they are Paypal Verified. Of course, they could just put that up on there for sh*ts and giggles. It's a scam! They won't accept Paypal according to their 'How to pay' page, and want you to send money thru Moneygram or Western Union, or a wire transfer to the Bank of China.
  21. no explanation, no nothing, logged on one day to find my account permanently suspended, along with my paypal account. I was a member for 4 years with a perfect feedback. Stupid eBay. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  22. I had a 300 something rating with a 100% feedback and ebay shut down my account. Screw em. Wow, that sucks. What happened? Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  23. According to the manual that NetGear posted with the FCC filing, and didn't make confidential for 180 days, the 341U supports GSM(850/900/1800/1900), UMTS(2100/1900/850/900), CDMA(850/1900/800), and LTE bands 25, 26 & 41). World GSM/UMTS roaming, with no native Verizon LTE support. Looks like a Sprint Exclusive model for now. By the way, did I mention I think the thing looks horribly ugly? Because it is!
  24. That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying!
