  1. And that is still all we know at this time. We will post more in the future as we learn in. Thanks, and welcome to S4GRU. Robert
  2. My EVO LTE shows site locations on NetMonitor here in New Mexico.
  3. My point with Asurion is the stock fluctuates. They go out of stock and in stock all the time, even after EOL. Asurion was substituting EVO's with EVO 3D's last winter, but was back to replacing EVO's with EVO's this Spring. Unless you know what Asurion has access to at any given time, you are rolling the dice as far as getting a newer, better device. Robert via Galaxy Nexus using Forum Runner

  5. I have the paid version of Forum Runner' date=' but I don't see any ads. Robert You and me both! Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  6. If Clearwire would adopt beamforming, it would help downlink transmission tremendously. There are increased energy costs associated with beamforming and more panels. However, with beamforming, Clearwire may even be able to achieve PCS spacing. And then could just jump on Sprint NV sites. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  7. Photo courtesy of theverge.com That Motorola ICS is hot. I like it lots. Much better than Sense ICS and leaps and bounds better. I wonder if this is NDA105 that Sprint is supposed to release toward the end of summer? The new Moto Photon Q LTE? If the Radios are as great as they are supposed to be, I could maybe see myself dumping the GS3 for this thing. Ive never owned a Moto. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  8. Those upload speeds are great. Those TriBand MiFis must have increased transmit power over smartphones. I don't know how to tell which LTE site you are connected to, as I have never had the luxury yet. I would imagine the CDMA apps we use will not tell you anything about LTE sites. If you get an opportunity to take some pictures and post them, that would be awesome. Thanks for the post. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

When my GS3 shows up in a few weeks, I will have an EVO LTE, Galaxy Nexus, GS3 and E4GT in my possession. Maybe I should consider some comparison testing. Especially with radios. I even have an EVO 3D and OG EVO I could use in the comparisons. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  11. This is not accurate. The design for Phoenix is just wrapping up now. And it takes months to work out the logistics of a market after design is complete before deployment starts. Also, I have schedules of the first 20,000 sites and Phoenix is not in it. On another note, Sprint is not using Phoenix as a 'test market' for its LTE. The last real source of info on LTE deployment in Phoenix is: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-148-silver-lining-for-phoenix-and-tucsonyuma-marketsthe-schedule-appears-to-be-moving-up-for-the-grand-canyon-state/ Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  12. We support both Tapatalk and Forum Runner because our members have made it clear they want both. However, Tapatalk and Forum Runner have both tried to give "incentives" to drop the other. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  13. Beaumont and Port Arthur are part of the Sprint Louisiana market. They will not come live with the Houston market. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  15. I didn't take it that way. I make mistakes too when I post sometimes. I appreciate it, actually. Someone had to point out an error I made today. Robert via Galaxy Nexus using Forum Runner

  17. I used to have the issue on my E4GT where it did not like to update when I connected to a new site. However, on the GNex, it always updates as I pass on site to site. Nice little surprise with my upgrade. For me, OpenSignal site locations have been so bad. But I haven't tried it for probably over a year because the results were so poor for me. I should probably give it a try again. Robert via Galaxy Nexus using Forum Runner

Just to clarify...I'm not saying its six months from now that the OC will be done, but rather it is six months from the start to finish after it begins. Robert via Galaxy Nexus using Forum Runner
