  1. Alabama was a 4th Round market. But so were Southern Jersey and VT/NH/ME. I have a source who has claimed they have combined the 3rd and 4th rounds. But no one has corroborated it yet. It's exciting to consider, though. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  2. Sprint has too many carriers per panel. Takes more panels and more expense. I'm more concerned about performance than how nifty the panel looks. Robert via Samsung Note II using Forum Runner

  4. If they cannot deploy something useful, then why bother? A big waste of money. At least with Clearwire and protection sites, they at least were active in 70 markets and deploying the protection sites only protected additional sites. NexTech would have to deploy unusable Protection Sites that will generate almost no income. Also, NexTech population is spread pretty thin. They would have to set up quite a few Protection Sites to make the numbers. Robert via Samsung Note II using Forum Runner
  5. Deployment is under way in the Orlando market. The first few LTE sites are coming live soon. The percentage complete only shows the sites accepted by Sprint from the OEM. Which is still zero in your market. Robert via Samsung Note II using Forum Runner

  7. LTE may not be live in every corner of Atlanta, but it is the most deployed Ericsson market of all. More sites go live in Atlanta on average every week than any other Ericsson market. Although we all want deployment to be as fast as physically possible, Atlanta's deployment has been way above average. Robert via Samsung Note II using Forum Runner
  8. My battery life seems identical to the GS3 so far. I was hoping for better battery life because the battery is 50% larger. But I'm just glad its not worse. Although, it may be better. It's hard to tell. I haven't put the thing down for the past two days. Robert via Samsung Note II using Forum Runner
  9. As good as that sounds, if NexTech does not build out before the FCC deadlines they will lose their spectrum. And when the FCC takes back spectrum because of not meeting build out requirements, you can never hold that license ever again. Very steep penalties. If you can't build out per requirements, it's not worth ever owning it. The FCC may allow an extension if work is already under way or imminent. But in NexTech's case, neither is true. Because they do not even have devices and will have trouble obtaining any. It's not a good situation to be in. Robert via Samsung Note II using Forum Runner
  10. The dropped call issue in Chicago was between legacy Motorola sites and Network Vision Samsung sites. They do not have legacy Motorola in Indianapolis. You should not experience the same issues. Robert via Samsung Note II using Forum Runner
  11. I assume "so" was supposed to be "no." Don't you know all other forums/sites get their Network Vision info from us? Robert via Samsung Note II using Forum Runner
  12. Sounds like Nextech should have joined with Sprint on their LTE plans and got access to LTE 1900 on G Block now and LTE 800 next year. They would be able to get devices, no problem. Buying that 700 spectrum was not a good idea. Robert

  14. Orlando is not a very active market for S4GRU members. I can only think of two off the top of my head. We even have more members in the Panhandle market than Orlando. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  15. The frequency is not determined by the RRU, but the carrier card. The RRU may be limited to certain bands, though. Each OEM has different RRU's with different specs. However, the legality involved doesn't have to do with spectrum. I'm concerned these are stolen. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  16. Not just quantity, but quality too. In all but one site, our Austin members found and plotted them on Sensorly before we even found out about them from Sprint. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
