  1. I began the endeavor. But I started in San Francisco. Evidently there are more Chins in Chinatown. So I gave up there. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  2. They seem to be staying right around 4-5 months behind schedule at most. No further slippage since the beginning of the year. They just need to stay at the current level or pick up speed. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  3. Yep, but I couldn't resist the obvious joke. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  4. Anyone who spends any time at S4GRU knows I have a chicken problem. Especially a fried chicken problem. That might be why I'm closing in on 300 lbs. But I blame the steroids... Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  5. Blue light special on Hanes boxer briefs! WOOT!!! Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  6. One of the best descriptions of ping ever! Good post. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  7. The answer to all your questions should be yes. You cannot run data on both EVDO and LTE at the same time. Your phone will not ever be connected to both EVDO and LTE simultaneously. However, it will still monitor EVDO when connected to LTE. That way it can reconnect and handoff quickly and easily when needed. I have had a CDMA 800 and EVDO connection before. 8. Isn't South Laredo in Mexico? Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  9. I'm an excellent driver! Wopner... Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  10. I imagine the sounds of millions of chirps simultaneously being silenced at once. As the Alderan network is vanquished. Hey wait, does that mean we're the Empire? Maybe I need to rethink my analogy... Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  11. All donations logged in the database aggregate toward Premier Sponsorship. Also, one interesting note is with gift sponsors, we credit both the giver and recipient. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  12. Fortunately, Diamond Bar is outside the IBEZ and should get 800 deployment. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  13. Yep, and I remember we addressed that point then too. There were several people concerned the sky was falling. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  14. I agree to your point it's not hearsay. However, Dan Hesse has been saying this to investors for several years now. He has to. Investors would slay him if he says that even if they should raise prices, he won't. It's all a game. There is no immediate pressure on cash that they need to raise prices before Softbank takes over. So status quo will reign during Softbank purchase and transition. And there is nothing to make us think in the short term that Softbank would raise prices. They are very competitive and like to take it to their competitors on every front, even price. Softbank may come out with several different pricing products, including ones that could be less expensive. I have no concerns about price raising at Sprint unless Softbank buy out fails. Then all bets are off. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  15. I think Craig was trying to be funny. I didn't detect anything serious in his post. Robert
  16. Two sites are live with LTE now east of Parsippany. More will be added every few days. S4GRU Sponsors have access to maps that show which sites have been completed. For more info on how to become a S4GRU Sponsor, you can check out this link: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1195-information-about-s4gru-sponsorship-levels-and-how-to-become-a-sponsor/ Robert
  17. They likely will Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  18. They aren't going to set it differently between pre acceptance and post acceptance, unless the downtilt was set incorrectly. The 800 site you're getting service from is probably set where it is going to be set, unless interference results in the future and needs to be adjusted. Robert
  19. We aren't exactly sure how 800 SMR service will be deployed in a place like Tucson. If no 800 is deployed, building penetration will not get much better. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  20. Since all the Samsung 800 RRU's deployed to date already support LTE 800, the only thing required on a return trip is a LTE 800 carrier card and firing it up. So it's not a big deal really. But I don't see why they couldn't take care of it with LTE 1900 after June 30th. I personally am not buying any more LTE 1900 only devices, unless they get really cheap on EBay. But as for contract upgrades, I'm now in wait and see mode. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  21. Network Vision upgrades on PCS 1900 will have a slight impact to reduce roaming. Some places more than others. However, the bigger reduction will come from SMR 800 deployment. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  22. In my mind, it makes sense to do both LTE 1900 and LTE 800 at the same time after iDEN shutdown and the conclusion of LTE 800 FIT's. So that's what I would do. However, I have not received any info about that is what is being done. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  23. Emmmm...Cinnabon... *drool* What were we talking about again? Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
