  3. Typically, flagpole sites are low capacity sites to begin with. They can have less antennas in the panel for each band, thus allowing more bands. No loss in performance for the bands housed within, but less carriers for each band will be supported. Robert
  4. Not that I'm aware of. But it's not an unusual feat. Robert
  5. I think I would prefer HauteSeuss, myself. Robert
  6. You can doubt it, but that's not what the date means. It means that if the rate at which sites were accepted the past three weeks were maintained from here forward, then the last site in the market would be NV converted in September 2013. The date is more about measuring the rate of production than it is about a date of completion. Robert
  7. It is the date that if the current production rate was maintained when the market will have its last site complete with Network Vision physical conversions. Not that every technology will be accepted, just at least one accepted. Robert
  8. Sprint put backhaul out to bid nationwide. There are usually a half dozen backhaul providers for each market. There is no way that only one or two backhaul providers can get to every site in a market. Some sites may be miles from a specific vendor. So it take a good mix of vendors to complete the task. Robert
  9. TD-LTE and WiMax base stations look the same. They are not switching out the WiMax base cabinets. They can LTE to them just fine. Robert

  11. "From my front porch you can vista del mar." Robert
  12. In Los Alamos, they got tired of kids hacking their secure system that they finally just gave the students their own WiFi. Robert
  13. I think there are many who wouldn't mind seeing Espanola under a couple hundred feet of water. And if the depth was set just right, I could have lakefront property. Robert
  14. I live on a piece of property measured in acreage. Not feet. Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk
  15. I was just about to pull the trigger and buy one, then my router went down. So I bought a really powerful AC 5GHz wifi router that should cover my entire house and front yard/gazebo. So I will have to wait on the spectrum analyzer until next month. Robert
  16. Me and my darling wife Christina (MommaCici) have joined. We have our own NFL Fantasy Football League we do on Yahoo Sports, so it was easy to join this one too. Robert
  17. Yep. Went back to normal 12 hours later. Robert
  18. This is most often because of interference from other sectors of the same site. When you get farther away, the interference from other sectors reduce and you get more of a solid signal of the sector you're on. Robert

Our home is tile in most of the public spaces. So I have dropped many devices on tile, unfortunately. With varying results. Robert
