  1. Pretty true, except on MiFi's. I can have usable upload and download data connections down to -130dBm with a decent quality signal. Which is really nice on Band 41. Those things are beasts! Robert
  2. The first LTE sites accepted in the Phoenix market. Jump over to the Sponsor section for more details! http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/590-network-vision-site-map-phoenix-albuquerque-and-tucsonyuma-markets/?p=186213 Robert
  3. The LG G2 should be out before the end of September. The Note 3 and the Galaxy S4 Refresh should be out in October/November. It is unknown if the new iPhone 5S will include Triband LTE. Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk

  5. We've discussed it in the past. However, the majority felt that we should allow it as it seemed better to revive an old topic when something new comes up on a subject than for someone to open yet another new topic. In cases where we don't want a thread to ever be posted on again, we are supposed to lock it. Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk
  6. The 8X. The 8XT is a Sprint only variant. But I'm not buying anymore Sprint devices other than Triband. Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk

  8. Trust me, you don't want to see AJ's YouTube response video for that! Robert
  9. My wife is just dying to get the Microsoft Surface Pro. But she married poor white trash. Robert
  10. You probably are the type who deserve the distinctive and retro stylings of the new American Telephone & Telegraph rotary smartphone...
  11. I just purchased a HTC 8X yesterday. I was getting tired of switching out my Tmo and AT&T SIMs back and forth in my Nexus 4, and the Nexus 4 doesn't work with AT&T LTE. So it should arrive on Thursday. It's been awhile since I've used a HTC product, and I'm really looking forward to trying out Windows Phone 8 OS. Maybe we will be able to revive this thread. Now if I can get a reasonable deal on a BB Z10, I'd try that one out too. Robert
  12. It is true. But does it count if I don't enjoy it, and use the info gleaned from my extra-carrier affairs to tell you how wonderful you are? Dan, did I ever tell you that you look marvelous in TD-LTE? Much better than those other tramps. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  13. Get yourself a triband hotspot, and all your cares will melt away at 50Mbps+ speeds. That's what all my Verizon friends tell me, anyway. And if it doesn't, then you can use your hotspot to Google ways to purchase cyanide in a way that is undetectable to authorities. Robert
  14. Hmmm...I appreciate you thinking of me. I'm not sure I like this thread, though. It would leave me accountable to answer every question. I like to hide behind the fact that I cannot make it to every thread/post, so I can avoid answering questions that are: Already answered somewhere else, often multiple times Stupid or inane Too time consuming, or I'm too busy Easily answered by someone else that will come along I'm willing to give it a shot. However, if someone else comes along and answers the question for me, I wouldn't mind at all. I definitely don't have the time to answer directly the maschinations of over 15,000 members. If it becomes too big a problem, I will just shut down the thread. Fair enough? Robert
  15. Not to mention 2600 has better performance. I was getting 10-20Mbps on TD-LTE 2600 sometimes even with zero bars. Signal quality was everything on TDD-LTE. Robert
  16. Ummm, I definitely was not born in 1996. Nor did I graduate in 1996. But it does show the year I was married. Robert
