  1. There is not a one is better than another. FDD is used for paired spectrum and TDD for unpaired. There's advantages to both. Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk

  3. The Springfield area is not complete with NV1.0. It's about 70% complete. When it's 100%, 3G speeds will be greatly improved and LTE will be on every site. When LTE is live on every site, you'll likely have LTE everywhere outdoors and indoors if you are within one mile of a site. They starting to deploy 1X 800 now in your area which will improve voice/texting indoors tremendously. It will be near impossible to hide from the signal in an urban area once that deployment completes. NV2.0 is just about to start in your area. That will add two more bands of LTE. Band 26 (800MHz) and Band 41 (2600MHz). Band 26 will allow LTE to penetrate better, just as good as VZW and AT&T (if not better). And Band 41 will add very high speeds. 50Mbps+. NV1.0 should get to 100% in your area in the next 3-5 months. NV2.0 will likely run through 2014 to complete. Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk

  7. Me and my wife did do the confidence points backwards. Oh well. How do the confidence points work? Do they result in bonus points if your more confident selections win? Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk
  8. Sprint is not a home ISP. If Sprint offers 50Mbps home service via TD-LTE, it will have a lot more takers than WiMax. And it will fill up the airwaves in no time. We all have just been asking for years to have a usable smartphone experience. I'm not willing to give that up for home users. And if they do consider it, you can forget unlimited on it. They will do something like Verizon has done with their home ISP LTE service with data tiers. If I was the head of Sprint I would offer service specifically in rural unserved areas and maybe offer those people unlimited, or very high caps. Or just streaming caps and unlimited browsing. 9. Boy, looking back at my quote, I'm amazed that Sprint has even exceeded my expectations. Yeehaw! Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk
  10. Great news. There are maps in the Sponsor section that get updated every day or two that show all the sites where LTE has been accepted as complete. 12. This has nothing to do with anything. Sprint already has dozens of sites in the Tucson market with LTE equipment on it. They are awaiting backhaul. Cricket doesn't mean anything. And Cricket is in the process of being bought out by AT&T. Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk

  18. Yeah, this would have nothing to do with donuts sites. Just a the or why it may take a day or two even to be fired up. Or it may be nothing at all. Robert from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  19. Stopped at the North Hill/Vistas Santa Fe site this afternoon. Talked with the Contractor. They are complete now. They had their first inspection yesterday and they are completing the correction list now and then he's going to call it in. So he doesnt know if they will reinspect it or just accept it automatically after his call. I guess we will know based on when it shows up as accepted. He says he is unsure if it will go live with LTE immediately or not. He said they hooked up the T1's and the new fiber to the router per Ericsson Integration Team's request. He said it's the first time they've been asked to do that in New Mexico. They have been hooking up T1's only to date. He did say no lights are active on the fiber port, but they are on on the T1 ports. He says he believes Ericsson Integration teams fire up fiber backhaul themselves. And that might explain why sometimes there is a day or two difference between acceptance and a site being live. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

  23. It's the opposite. I do like you. That's why I have not banned you from S4GRU for your violations, even though I could have. It's not that I have mistaken your tone, it's because your Facebook posts violated our rules and you ignored my warnings. It's that simple. It is not personal. And I still have not seen anyone say they do not like you. Do we have to let you violate the rules in order for you to feel liked? Robert via Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 using Tapatalk
