  1. Those are my statuses, not Sprints. You just don't know what that means, obviously. It's Network Vision conversions, not LTE availability. I take exception to your posts lately. You're pushing it. Robert
  2. Just got around to reading this thread. My suggestion is to email dan@sprint.com and explain that you live/work near Site X and they came out and did NV work a few weeks ago. And now you get reduced service. It appears that one of the antenna panels is now pointed upward and perhaps this is the cause of the service problems. If it is meant to be that way, they'll probably tell you. If it is an error, they will probably get someone out to fix it in a few weeks. Good luck. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  5. I believe that the Sprint throttling of video on the new unlimited for life plans is set for 1Mbps. It is designed so people will not try to tether an HD 1080p television to their phone and bog down the network. Because Sprint has to find ways to battle the abusers who think they can do anything with their unlimited data, even things that are not allowed per their terms and conditions. And streaming video is not always throttled with unlimited for life customers. Only when needed to preserve network performance. However, it seems some heavy streaming users may be getting flagged and always have throttled streaming video. And for 90% of customers, 1Mbps of streaming video will be ample for use on a smartphone screen. That's what Sprint is aiming for. Allowing customers to still use unlimited streaming on their smartphones while limiting the bandwidth abusers can take away from all other customers. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

But that's just it. In the places with Band 41 deployed, there may be scant or no Band 25. So enabling Band 41 on your device gives you faster speeds and increased coverage. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Sprint 3G performs very well in Los Alamos. I never complained there. In fact, Sprint 3G runs faster than VZW LTE there at peak times. The North Mesa site runs over 2Mbps almost always. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  15. Everything Sprint is doing is confusing the masses, at this point. Sometimes they even confuse me. Heck, I think sometimes they are confused themselves. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  16. If there is anything people need relief from, it's Santa Fe traffic. Driving down Cerrillos or St. Francis at rush hour is enough to make someone batty. I actually preferred driving in ABQ. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  18. China does not own us. The last time I heard, they owned only 20% of our debt. While that is a significant number, it is not even anywhere near a majority. It is dangerous for Americans to assume we are so indebted to the Chinese. It will just create a generation that feels we owe China much more than just money and be willing to capitulate our own interests out of fear of the debt holder. Neither a borrower nor lender be. 19. 600MHz only propagates about 3% better than 700MHz. Just like 700MHz propagates about 3% better than 800MHz. There is nothing inherently worse about 600MHz than 700MHz in propagation characteristics, except for a slight gain. Downtilt adjustment can take away most of the problems. The problem with 600MHz is more about interfering with other adjacent license holders. Not with creating a cohesive network for a provider. Also, a 600MHz panel and radio can be built to not be any larger than 700MHz panels used now. This is much ado about nothing. I wonder what this guy was saying about 700MHz initially? LG G2 Users Thread!

I believe it has been proven now above a reasonable doubt that SMS is capable of running on LTE on the new network. I need to revise my article. But it is true for a call. Sorry about the error. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  23. Yes, it will effect some people. But what do you want them to do? Would you rather that even SVLTE not be able to use them either? If the 3G doesn't come online with the LTE, it is because it can't. Not because they like alienating Triband device owners. However, Sprint says that by the time they launch service in the market, they will make sure the 3G NV upgrades with CSFB are active by the time LTE launches in the market. Robert
  24. It varies by signal quality and sector burden. However, I have had a usable Band 41 LTE signal down to as low as -139dBm RSRP. I couldn't touch it, or it would drop the connection. But I could manage around 3-4Mbps DL with that signal strength. Most of the time, I would drop out between -120dBm and -130dBm. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
