  3. I am loving my Spigen NeoHybrid case for my N5. I'm typically the guy who doesn't use cases. I hate losing the natural OEM feeling. But the NeoHybrid feels so good in the hand and looks very stylish, that I don't mind it at all. I'm shocked that I have found a case that I'm happy with. I'm going to get one for my work iPhone now. 4. Sprint needs to only show that Spark icon when connected to a Band 41 site with upgraded backhaul. Otherwise, Spark is going to have a bad reputation right out the gate. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  5. I don't think I could handle that. It would probably create a craving that only consuming fried chicken could alleviate. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  6. New hardware is active at acceptance. However, if existing legacy backhaul is overwhelmed, new hardware will not help anything. The site performance will only improve when the new LTE backhaul is installed and hooked up to the 3G also. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  7. It's most likely the LTE scan settings of your device. Most Sprint LTE device it is 300 seconds (5 mins) by default. If you lose your connection, it probably will not scan again for 5 mins for LTE. I'm not sure of the settings in the Moto. But on most Android devices you can adjust this time amount to something lesser. This may help your situation. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  9. I don't recall you ever being the subject of Staff displeasure. We don't gossip as much as you may think. Typically just the people on their way to being banned. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  10. I'm noticing a little better battery live using ART. But it could just be placebo! Robert

  12. You're close. This is not a bad thing for Ericsson. It's a good thing. Ericsson legacy sites are capable of CSFB now and are being upgraded to support CSFB even before converting to Network Vision. Ericsson Network Vision sites support eCSFB. To contrast, legacy sites in Samsung areas cannot be upgraded to even basic CSFB and have to wait until the NV upgrade at each site is completed and then can use eCSFB. I'm not sure if there is much benefit to eCSFB over CSFB in customer experience anyway, though. Robert
  13. Nice. The Geek article that rips ours off gets cited by Fierce Wireless. Thanks Tim for pointing that out in the FW comments. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  14. They're just figuring out their angle of attack. It will be two things... 1. Sprint will not be able to maintain their network and 50-60Mbps will drop to 100kbps in a month 2. This is an unburdened network. Sprint's speeds will be lower than 3G soon. But it's a new day with Softbank. Sprint will maintain its network. Also, the one 20MHz TDD "Spark" carrier has more capacity than an AT&T or VZW 10MHz FDD carrier, and that capacity grows exponentially when you consider that it will be deployed more densely. And Sprint has half the customers. No sweat. And Sprint can deploy up to an additional two more of these mondo capacity/speed TDD-LTE carriers. And in many markets, even more than three. Now it will all be about results. The entire WiMax network needs to be converted, stat. And with the proper supporting backhaul. That will really right the ship. And then they can take a steady approach to adding Band 41 to all the NV sites. And they should prioritize them in traffic order. The busiest sites first, all the way down the line until they are all complete. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  16. You're too young. There was a TV show called Blossom on NBC in the early 90's. It featured the two actors referenced in my photos. The actor (Joey Lawrence) played a dumb teenage boy who's catch phrase was "Whoa!" You didn't miss anything by never seeing the show. I thought the gal in the photo I quoted looked like the star of Blossom. As you can see from the photo I posted, there is an eerie similarity. Robert http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k60qr2BXbQM
