iPhone 6S/6S Plus/6C Rumor Thread

Not gonna lie. I hate that man. He started an entire movement over that bendgate crap and racked up the followers on YouTube from it. All over something that should've been completely obvious. If you apply enough force to a phone that is 6.9 or 7.1 mm thin, it'll bend. Hur dedurdur.

That said, Samsung used the harder grade for the Galaxy S6. To be really honest, Apple did use it before Samsung for the  Watch before the GS6 came out. Do I believe it's that expensive, not exactly.

Yeah he is a bit of a show boat, but I wonder about how he was able to get his hands on the 6S chasis before release. There is certainly the possibillity Apple arranged it through back channels to eliminate that concern from the source.

I did not know the S6 used the 7000(?) series aluminum.

My interest in the 6S is its expected cross carrier capabillities and the fact that I trust Google/Android less than Apple when it comes to privacy and protection of personal data. EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation - www.eff.org) actually awarded Apple its highest raiting (which I think might be an idication EFF needs to increase its standards). Still progess is good.

Looks to be a cardboard cut out of the iPhone 6C, with a rumored launch of October or November, and a starting configuration of 16GB? I would sure hope that Apple would be smarter and just start all phones at 32GB min and with no less than 2GB RAM. But then again, that's just me.

Finally those of us using PC's can watch this event...assuming we all upgraded to Windows 10 and use the Edge browser.

"Requirements: Live streaming uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires a second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later."

Dang, I wish I could sit in on the event.  I will be traveling that day.  I know everyone here will post the updates.

I'm sure that phone is targeted towards emerging markets and aspirational customers who don't have a lot of disposable income.

Or, my wife and my sister, who hate holding larger devices.

My friend who I gave my 5S to will probably want the 6C more than a bigger one. I'm going to try to talk her into a 6S though.

I just hope the 6C has triband support. That'll make my wife happy...

I'm pretty sure that all 3 models will have triband support. The question is, will the 6C have carrier aggregation.

I'll be on the couch, watching the Apple TV stream. I guess I can type a few things. I wonder if this will finally be the year where I can watch without the stream being cut off, or overdubbed with a Chinese lady.

Wow, the response from those who will help is great. I'm planning to be able to do it, but I won't know until around 9am that morning.
