JonnygATL
The galaxy s5 sport for Sprint announcement that went along with this is already receiving the typical anti sprint trolling word vomit in the comments section on cnet. I mean, unless you live in a trailer then you're already experiencing a completely different network from sprint. It's awesome how far they've come. I actually connected to b41 for the first time here in Atlanta the other night while driving past Piedmont Park on my home from work. It was cool but the best part is that the network here is so good that I don't really even really need band 41. How's that for an improved network?

Normally it takes the press far longer. Typically it takes Sprint a day before the list stabilizes. Will double check things later, as items seemed to be changing a little while I was doing this. sent by tapatalk from my LS-980 (G2)
WiWavelength
Surprisingly positive comments! http://www.androidcentral.com/sprint-expands-lte-service-28-more-cities Not quite. Certainly not from an, uh, AT&T user in Duluth. But they have permanent brain freeze in Duluth, so they may not be reliable witnesses. Mr.Nuke
Surprisingly positive comments! http://www.androidcentral.com/sprint-expands-lte-service-28-more-cities I was surprised with the overly positive tone in the comment section of the last Sprint related article I read there. The tide may indeed be starting to turn.
dkyeager
My comparison was based on http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/4glte-launchedmarkets.htm compared to http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5887-2014-04-28-coverage-map-updated/ . The press even seems a bit more generous than Sprint in the places they give them credit. Of course this may just be leveling the playing field a bit as AT&T tends to list every hamlet. Others may also do the same.

But he's right about Sprint, not only is there no LTE there, but out of the 24 sites in MN with No NV Activity, Duluth accounts for ~21 sites. There has been no progress whatsoever in Duluth proper. Supposedly most sites there will be upgraded this summer though.

Not a reflection upon you but on the Android Central commenter, this is what makes most people bad scientists, bad politicians, bad consumers, just bad critical thinkers in general. Duluth could be the center of the universe. Or it could be the cold anus of Lake Superior. It does not matter. Sprint could shower Duluth with the greatest wireless technology. Or Sprint could neglect Duluth forever. Again, it does not matter. One sample does not a trend make. But that does not stop bad critical thinkers. They leap to sweeping generalizations based upon their limited, local observations. AJ
littlejth
Oh yeah, I totally get that. In terms of the one city, it kinda sucks, but as a whole, obviously Sprint is 1000x better where upgrades have already happened and Duluth doesn't reflect the network overall. I'm not saying he wasn't in the wrong, just that it is bad luck for him living in the only area of MN without any upgrades yet.

AJ I didn't even realize that Procol Harum released the original song in the late 60's. The Sarah Brightman version is the only one I'd ever heard. I learned something new yet again! But, pop culture references aside, I don't think even a summer in Newfoundland could turn me alabaster or even eggshell. Lol
