Fort Lauderdale and Weston have improved a lot. My office in Weston gets screaming LTE.

That's funny because the only place I ever have gotten to use LTE to its potential was at my office in Stuart. Ha

Meanwhile at the light before heading to Palatka. Nice to use 4G outside of my usual areas I frequent. For anyone in Bunnel I hit as high as 24 down / 12 up

It didn't look like they were doing work on the Sprint tower just north of EE Williamson/Longwood Hills Road and west of Lake Emma Road in the Lake Mary/Longwood area (tower is easily visible from the intersection and no cranes or hoist lines were in place), but for a brief moment my phone made a connection with a 1x800 tower. Shortly thereafter my phone began roaming with MetroPCS.

I wonder if they are almost done "testing" the networks over here. I tried to connect to data yesterday in my apartment and forgot to turn my wifi back on after....I received like 5 text messages at once because it had no idea what to do without a data signal! LOL. It was legit like .06 download speeds when I tested it. Poor iPhone...Without it's succulent 3g/ LTE data speeds, iMessage just doesn't know what to do with itself.

I've been seeing some inconsistency from the tower near me as well, though every time I do a drive by, I don't see anyone.

LTE @ the dunlawton tower in Port Orange is now active; although I believe there's a MAJOR problem because certain sectors give STRONG 1x and 3G but are completely dead, no calls incoming or outgoing within range of this tower, phone just locks up.. I asked a few friends and in certain other areas the same problem has been discovered..

Speeds are ok I guess for 1.5mile away in a concrete building:

Rather slow lately. Are all the sprint employees back from their vacation?? Speaking of which. Went on sprint forums and hijacked a thread like a noob and got an answer that was slightly more worded than the typical "work is being down in your area, please press 1 for more options, error, 1 is not an option press 2 instead" Still a bunch of hooplah though. At least I found where I can get an airave even though I do not want to pay for it...

"Thank you for reaching out to us here on Community and we would be more than happy to assist.  Reviewing upon your area we have already begun applying Network Vision and 4G LTE in your region to provide a stronger and more reliable network for you.  With us applying such work to your towers it can cause services interruptions and fluctuations until the tower is completed.  The work completed so far can be viewed here http://network.sprint.com/?ECID=vanity:network and there is much more work we are looking to apply additionally to this area.  To obtain an Airave is best performed here http://bit.ly/15dkmq2 but currently at this time inventory has been depleted and we are waiting for a new shipment."

I noticed more work being done at the site behind the UCF Stadium yesterday.. They had a bunch of generators there for a few weeks, with a guy in an Ericsson pickup truck filling them up with gas periodically. I have no idea why they had generators there, but they are gone now. The new RRU's and antennas have been up for a little more than a month and it still isn't live with LTE.. Any guesses on what the hold up is with this particular site?

Wonder if maybe the site lost power? Or perhaps they were using a C.O.W.?

Not sure... I'm getting really decent 3G speeds from that site though (2.65 down, .75 up, 118 ping) So hopefully that means that they have the back haul in place and all they have to do is accept the site. LTE coverage on the UCF campus is really bad so I'm really hoping they get it done sooner rather than later

Still, I imagine with all those brick buildings it will still suffer quite a bit. Hopefully 800 will fix that though.

Bet we all wish this speed was constant. Considering I was literally in the middle of no where in the Southeast corner of the Orlando market, these speeds are unlikely for regular enjoyment. Hope my 20,000 plus sensorly points from the weekend benefit everyone.. (orlando to weston on the first (turnpike to 595 to 75). The second was weston to outside daytona beach taking I-95 to ft pierce. Turnpike to I-4)

I hope they finish it soon. At UCF games, once most fans arrive, you can kiss your data goodbye.

If they finish that tower you think it should extend over to waterford??? I am just wondering how they're going to fill in this gap. Its amazing that I can pick up LTE in the waterford town center in certain places, but not right across the street at my apartment, except near the lake and on the opposite side of my apartment. What in the world...I don't even

The downtilt of the tower can greatly affect the range, which is why sometimes a tower that seems far is giving you pretty good coverage while another from a similar distance is crappy in comparison.

Hmmmm. Intriguing. I'm sure they'll adjust it in time. On a better note, was at a dog park in winter park and had some pretty decent LTE speeds. Was very consistent, just how I like it! Also, that place over there reminds me of Palm Beach. Everything looks so new and lots of nice fancy cars.
