  1. Meh, I'm waiting for my exchange to be shipped now Today was horrible I couldn't keep a call without being dropped. And using data anywhere except right in front of the tower, Forget about it..
  2. I called sprint complaining of the random drops to roaming and bad LTE signal with the gs5 vs my s3, They want me to go to a corp store to check it out to get a exchange. I was sitting in the mobile data screen and this popped up minutes later. https://www.dropbox.com/s/emyaxw9ikxrtio5/2014-04-15%2003.08.43.png (scratches head) https://www.dropbox.com/s/kyxzqfc64rsf3ce/2014-04-15%2003.34.51.png Battery life is beating up my gs3 though,, Pretty good considering the constant LTE to 3g and roam switching..
  3. It does seem like it tries to hold a better signal than my s3, but my signal indicator shows 1 bar signal strength indoor and outdoor(usually) unless i'm within 1/4th of a mile from the tower. Recently I was laying on the ground under my car and the phone kept going into roaming where my s3 wouldn't..
  4. I'm assuming i'm not the only one having LTE signal issues with my s5?
  5. Doubt the sensorly data is up to date.. I've stopped mapping recently.. Check the sprint coverage maps or become a sponsor to see where the accepted towers are..
  6. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5ubod67gfvketsu/bill.jpg Meh, I never knew that watching YouTube videos on my lunch breaks would use up so much data XD
  7. Same thing happened here in port orange.. Same tower was live 2 days after westower installed nv for a week. It worked for 2 days and after everybody in the area called and complained due to dropped calls and bad signal / no signal on 1x/3g, they shut it off and its been off since..
  8. Whole city will be covered as far as outdoor coverage goes but it will be far beyond what your phone will attempt to connect to; unless you have a phone you can force to that band..
  9. Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe sensorly's test averages over multiple parts (why it stops mid test a few times) and servers causing somewhat inaccurate results
  10. LTE @ the dunlawton tower in Port Orange is now active; although I believe there's a MAJOR problem because certain sectors give STRONG 1x and 3G but are completely dead, no calls incoming or outgoing within range of this tower, phone just locks up.. I asked a few friends and in certain other areas the same problem has been discovered.. Speeds are ok I guess for 1.5mile away in a concrete building: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wrlhc2jp25nue0z/2013-09-20%2019.07.35.png At walmart near the tower: https://www.dropbox.com/s/28phxhk7baur84b/2013-09-20%2019.22.07.png
  11. I believe so, I recently went from a Indirect dealer plan to Sero after leaving RadioShack. Current: Old:
  12. Returned to the site @ City Center and Dunlawton in Port Orange this morning WesTower Trucks were there, I pulled up and asked(I think it was the same group I annoyed a bit in Ormond) "When will it be online?" while guys up on the tower were yelling down at him and the other guy.. He replied "In less than a week" Bout time, will fill in a large hole in coverage here(Sprint maps show moderate lte coverage, even though the only way to pick it up is being outdoors and to force LTE only mode)
  13. WOOT! work is being done at the city center tower in Port Orange!!!! RRU's on tower and they left one on the ground due to the storm.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19844487/2013-09-06%2014.53.26.jpg < No tresspassing? right! https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19844487/2013-09-06%2014.53.22.jpg < I love the westower flag https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19844487/2013-09-06%2014.51.42-2.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19844487/2013-09-06%2014.51.35.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19844487/2013-09-06%2014.50.53.jpg
  14. Look at non material / material changes in the contract, You should be given 30 days to notify sprint of wanting to close your account without an ETF..
  15. Well this is a disappointment.. So apparently the Daytona area launched? I looked on the map and there's a small purple cloud over my house(figures) but the parts showing LTE coverage in port orange are a total and complete lie..
  16. Its unlimited but gets throttled or so they say they do.. I tried getting my parents to switch to sprint from AT&T but they still have unlimited* (yes with an asterisk) or so they think unlimited; I called 611 and the billing department informed me there's a 3gb to throttle on 3g and hspda+ and 5gb then throttle for lte.
  17. Look elsewhere and stop complaining, as we have told you this is not just an LTE rollout, and its a complete network overhaul which really shouldn't be compared to VZW / ATT's LTE rollout..
  18. Enjoy your 2GB data limit.. I'm staying even after loosing my indirect dealer discount, things keep getting better in the area every week, although I am kinda bugged the permits for one of the port orange towers recently expired due to lackluster performance from westower, I'm sure sprint won't be happy either; Port Orange charges a ton for permits like this..
