I am still get horrible 3G speeds. Even with full bars, its no more than .2/,05

And it won't until NV 3G clusters start to go live around the area.

I went to that race trac on 415 yesterday and got nothing. I even did a signal reset. But Sprint has been the the Lake Mary/Sanford area. My 3G speed is a little better. I've been getting .4-.6 mbps Have seen notice better speeds?

Well I'm sorry it didn't come up for you, it did map out on sensorly. When I finally got back to Lake Mary my 3G was horrible my voice signal kept dropping even went I got back home to Altamonte my service just really sucked. Hope that's a sign that NV will be here soon. I usual Get great signal & 3G data speeds in Altamonte

Yeah.. 3G and Voice in Lake Mary are horrendous at the moment. Hopefully that tower will fix it. Its so close in all the surrounding areas that I HOPE it comes soon because man its boggggggged down at the moment

Hang in there! I used to feel your pain when I was close to the FL Mall area with horrible 3G speeds. Lately, I've been seeing 1mb down at a minimum with like 1.5 as a max and it has made life a little better.

Still was hoping to see some LTE love more in the City of Orlando, but who knows when that starts becoming more of a reality in terms of exact time.

I am hoping for it to come soon as well! When I look at Sensorly, it seems to be ALL around me, but not here =/ Oh well, it will come soon enough. And hopefully the 3G speeds get better before then. I keep switching back and forth between an LTE phone and a WiMax phone because I really can not handle the 3G speeds, if I am out, its slower than dial-up. But, hopefully soon.. I saw them working on a Tower by me a couple of weeks ago, and someone spotted LTE in Sanford a couple of days ago, so I really hope that those towers are complete, and that the switch turns on soon!!!!

I feel your pain... in most of the city I don't really use much data because of how slow it is. Usually I end up frustrated and just put my phone down.

I have faith in Sprint, hopefully in a few months this will be a distant memory.

I don't know if it's just me, but there's no sign of LTE in Oviedo now, 2/11/2013. I feel like LTE expansion came to a complete stop.

its off and on for me, certain days I find it working and other days it isn't. I got it yesterday when I was out walking my dog, not so today. Considering our area is still pre-launch, they are probably still testing. Should be better signal strength once the rest of the towers are upgraded.

There is apparently a newly upgraded tower on McCulloch. Does anyone with mapping functionality live/work out there? I am also interested in seeing how the Curry Ford area (from Alafaya to Dean Rd) looks as far as signal strength. I am waiting for the Galaxy S4 to come out then I will happily map away on new areas. Thanks!

4G on dean isn't much unless you go past university then the aloma tower kicks in. Alafaya down to avalon entrance is slow 4G since its far from the tower but its there. 4G is very fast inside avalon. 4G on curry ford and dean is not on yet, when that tower gets upgraded, there will be huge differences in the area, it will probably cover some alafaya and a lot of curry ford up to before goldenrod i would say since its such a huge tower.

I think there may be another tower newly live with 4G in Cocoa. On my way home to Port St John from Cocoa today, I was driving north on US1. I was able to keep a strong 4G signal all the way up to the new FPL plant on US1 in Frontenac. Before today, the 4G signal would always drop out just north of 528. I mapped the new areas on Sensorly. I think the newly upgraded tower is near the intersection of US1 and Canaveral Groves Blvd.

I picked up a few 4g LTE hits as I was mapping today at lunch time going up N.. Mills at the intersection of Orange Ave.

maybe i was wrong. I traveled up conway to the 408 over to N Mills. Looking back at sensorly tonight 4g is showing up at the 408/Lake Underhill area. Maybe that was the area that i got my 4g points. Either way it is spreading west towards town.

For a few mins I picked up LTE just east of I4 on 436 in Altamonte around 5pm battery was dead and sensorly wouldn't freaking start the mapping process Idk also tried to do a speed test but that didn't work either I had about 5% batt Idk off that had anything to do with it to some screen shots with the 4g icon on my phone

Oops I meant 12% batt

    • Your referring to the $25.00 a month Infinite Unlimited plan?  I don't see any other plans on there even cheaper than that on their website.  I was looking at the Motorola 2023 Edge fwiw as well for $10.00 a month.
    • A heavy n41 overlay as an acquisition condition would be a win for customers, and eventually a win for T-Mobile as that might be enough to preclude VZW/AT&T adding C-Band for FWA due to spreading the market too thinly (which means T-Mobile would just have local WISPs/wireline ISPs as competition). USCC spacing (which is likely for contiguous 700 MHz LTE coverage in rural areas) isn't going to be enough for contiguous n41 anyway, and I doubt they'll densify enough to get there.
    • Boost Infinite with a rainbow SIM (you can get it SIM-only) is the cheapest way, at $25/mo, to my knowledge; the cheaper Boost Mobile plans don't run on Dish native. Check Phonescoop for n70 support on a given phone; the Moto G 5G from last year may be the cheapest unlocked phone with n70 though data speeds aren't as good as something with an X70 or better modem.
    • Continuing the USCC discussion, if T-Mobile does a full equipment swap at all of USCC's sites, which they probably will for vendor consistency, and if they include 2.5 on all of those sites, which they probably will as they definitely have economies of scale on the base stations, that'll represent a massive capacity increase in those areas over what USCC had, and maybe a coverage increase since n71 will get deployed everywhere and B71 will get deployed any time T-Mobile has at least 25x25, and maybe where they have 20x20. Assuming this deal goes through (I'm betting it does), I figure I'll see contiguous coverage in the area of southern IL where I was attempting to roam on USCC the last time I was there, though it might be late next year before that switchover happens.
    • Forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I got to visit these small cells myself! They're spread around Grant park and the surrounding areas, but unfortunately none of the mmwave cells made it outside of the parks along the lake into the rest of downtown. I did spot some n41 small cells around downtown, but they seemed to be older deployments limited to 100mhz and performed poorly.
