Just passed through Farmersville and saw work in progress and looks like new hardware is being added. Please be sprint tower.

I think it is a sprint tower because I live in Exeter and my 3G was off all night and I passed by that tower and noticed it was being worked on so I'm guessing that's the reason my 3G was off

Yea they were still working on it when I passed by a hr ago. Looks like they were running wire a guy was rolling out a spool and few guys were on the tower

ive recently noticed that ive been getting 4g lte at home ive never had it before just started happening maybe a week ago. itworks fine for a few minutes to maybe an hour or so, but then out of nowhere it shuts down and flips back to 3g is this normal? if so how long will it continue ti happen? anyone ? please?

Most likely testing.  Until fiber back haul is installed it will then get accepted  by Sprint and will be live.

I would imagine that the 4g upgrade is complete but the signal not strong enough to keep 4g on so the phone reverts back to 3g. What happens if you go outside your house?

Farmerville tower got the green light sprint rep said by LTE by the 4th. They had been working on it all week.

I drove by the Farmersville tower tonight. There is no activity on the Sprint rack. They're doing something, which tonight looked like welding, way down low on the tower where there is no current hardware, from Sprint or otherwise.

Will the 800 towers get 4g too or is 800 considered 4g?

Sites with 800 CDMA acceptance will later get LTE upgrades. The order that sites are upgraded varies widely. Some get LTE first, then 1900 3G, then 800 1x. Others start with 3G upgrades, then LTE, then 800. And so forth.

I can't speak for other users in the LCV, but I don't care too much about what is going on up in the UCV. They got 34 updates this week; I'd say that's pretty impressive.

I do cause i live in Modesto and she lives in at Atwater and as of now i havent seen any 4G yet in Modesto.

The 34 updates were 3G and 4G updates in Reno only, I believe. I have a huge vested interest in LCV because I visit my family often in Tulare/Visalia.
