I was just told a few minutes ago by a buddy over in AF about this. This couldn't have come at a better time, I was going to get the AT&T one this Thursday as a b'day present and if this is true then I rather wait for the Sprint version, whether 4G or not. (But I doubt it won't be 3G only, most likely 4G LTE if they do get it.) As I mentioned over in you tube, i wonder if anyone remembers when the iphone appeared in a similar ad and how long thereafter the device was actually available. It would be cool to compare and come up with a similar timeframe (if this is indeed the Note) man, if sprint gets this qbking is going to hack the living daylights out of it. I think I am about to cry as excited as i am lol TS

Interesting.. ^ lol Ok, The above is true, but if you view the top level forum of the Sponsor section (The S4GRU Club) in the categories listing of the Forum tab, like so... Then click and hold on "The S4GRU Club" selection until the pop up comes up. Select Subscribe. The section now has a star at the lower right of it. If you click on the Favorites tab, you will now see The S4GRU listing. If you click on that, all the hidden sections of the Sponsors area is now listed. So if you click on any one of them, the threads show up. Except (you knew that was coming), the S4GRU Contributing Authors Forum. When clicking on that to see the threads, I do get the Protected Forum message. So either that is the culprit of our woes, or even I as a moderator cannot access that section. Of course all of this is only a temporary solution to viewing the sponsor forum, and Tapatalk may need to investigate the issue and push out a fix. At least this way, one has a faster access to that section by using your Favorites. TS out

Thanks for the info (and for busting my bubble) lol You are probably correct. By the time Sprint gets it, it will be outdated. Plus with the success that Samsung has had with that device, I am sure that a part 2 is already being designed more along the specs of the Samsung s3. And it would most likely be announced/deployed around the 1 year anniversary of the first Note. (Which is probably at the end of the year) This would be the time that both Sprint and Verizon would get a chance to have dibs on it. As for the HTC EVO LTE, if May 7 is the pre-orders, when do some of you think the phone would actually be in consumers hands? TS

A hero, 2 Photons (me and spouse) and a 3g/4g laptop all under $250 a month. Whats another $70 bill? I spend more on crap and junk than that. I just have to curtail my junk stuff. lol In my view its worth if for the Note. Well with my Mother in Law in the hospital I haven't taken any vacations so all that money is ending up in my belly eating and buying stuff (I really don't need) or donating to unlock bountys, forums, charities. lol My frequent flyer miles have taken a hit this year. anyway back on topic, EVO LTE will be mine, Galaxy Note (whether Sprint or AT&T) will also be mine. mwuahahahaha TS

Sacrilege At the present time, it looks like I will be getting the EVO 4G LTE to replace my aging HTC Hero (that is my backup phone), as for my main line (The Photon) I would love to have the Note, but from what I gather (one of the posting by Robert) it seems that the Note is not in the lineup of upcoming devices. So I just may bite the bullet and get it on AT&T. (This would also give me a head start of knowing the ins and outs of the device) If and when Sprint does come out with their version, I'll just pay the ETF on AT&T and get the Sprint one. Shoot, I've payed ETFs before so one more time is not going to kill me. TS

Yeah with 15 phones before the year is up, I am sure both Motorola and Samsung wouldn't want to be left behind. As for those still wondering if the top portion of the device is a deal breaker, I did not see it as bad. Plus covers will help. TS

I look forward to it. Its one of the topics I was hoping to read, since The Photon is the only world Sprint Android phone, but that's WiMax. I'm curious about the possibilities of a LTE world phone on Sprint. TS

Most topics that I see are pretty much current. Eventually as the site gets bigger and more posts are responded to, someone may be searching for a topic and reply to it thus bringing it back to the top and reviving it, even though the topic has long been answered or exhausted. Such topics I can see being candidates for locking/closing. This may be a good topic to discuss in the next sponsor meet. But like I said most topics are current from what I can see. TS

For NYC it states 5 new towers, and I did find one in Greenpoint Brooklyn, but when clicked all it says is new tower and not address, or coordinates. Its going to be a bit of a job going through the NYC area and clicking on each tower symbol to see which one is new. I'll try to get the rest tomorrow. TS

Speaking of that AndroidCentral video, they actually start talking about the Sprint EVO at time index 20:34 thru 33:26 and Phil flat out says its better than the HTC One X. (at index: 22:20) whoa. Nice.
