First time I see Google mentioned in any Comcast/Charter/Sprint article. Jeff Kagan: Sprint is the Bell of the Comcast, Charter Google Ball. On a side note, since the above article reminded me of SpectrumCo LLC with so many hands in the pot, I noticed something odd when I looked up the company. According to Crunchbase, SpectrumCo is still a sub set of Comcast, that much I knew. But the website listed on Crunchbase points to fiercewireless.com. But the FW website states it's a division of Questex. Confusing to say the least. TS

I find it very interesting this comment from the article... TS

If they did, it probably won't be on Sprint anyway.

I mentioned this name theory while back... As for the idea by Arysyn of a combination between Comcast, Charter, Sprint, and Verizon, At first I don't think it will fly. Just looking at the video subscribers alone below, Comcast alone takes up 1/3 of the pie. Adding in Charter and Verizon and it may be too big to fly with the feds and that's not even taking into account gobbling up Sprint. But as they say, never say never, being that Verizon was in talks with Charter back in January, it does make you think anything is possible, even a 4 way tie up. Both cable companies have agreed not to pursue any merge or acquisition with anyone for a year, but that doesn't mean they can't plant the seeds that will sprout out 1 year later. It would be interesting to see 1-a shared spectrum deal with Sprint is announced in 2 months, then to follow 2-with Sprint merging with T-Mobile with Sprint buying them out with the collateral of the shared spectrum deal and Maya putting in the remaining dollars. 3-A year after the Comcast/Charter no merge/buy year agreement is done, they both merge. 4-Then 6 months they merged company announces to buy out Sprint. As Arysyn said, "it'll be huuuuggggeee" Ok, now I'll go back to sleep and dream a bit more. source pic: DailyTech.com TS

Since I can't tell if the above is "Spring Fever" or "No Springs" as the final answer, I'll combine it and put down this as the next one in the thread. No Fever

Are you saying that Son will split Sprint into two and give one to Comcast and the other to Charter to then go after T-Mobile. I thought his goal was to have both Sprint and T-Mobile as one big company.

Question, Does Package Disabler pro works on non-rooted phones? (I can't check since work PC won't let me into the Play store). Nevermind, checked via phone. It does. Cool

I guess it depends on what the newly merged company will be called (if the merge goes through). DT could dissolve Sprint and make it all T-Mobile, or Softbank would go ballistic and buy out T-Mobile USA and dissolve it or they could both come to some quasi merge and keep both companies under one umbrella much like what Sprint does with Virgin and Boost. Until that time, I would assume Robert would take the necessary measures in regard to both sites. TS

<Opens door, throws rock in, closes door> I wouldn't be surprised Amazon buying Sprint. Since they are buying everything else lately (Whole Foods, maybe Slack,) having a telecom would make them an empire. (If they weren't already). Although I still feel Sprint tying up with Charter Communications will be ideal, more so than T-Mobile. But eh, time will tell.

As for the other states, I can't comment, but I believe the reason NJ is the top most densely populated state according to the census is mainly because of the counties of Guttenberg, Union City, West NY, Hoboken, Cliffside Park and East Newark. They are in the top 10 along with NYC as the most densely populated cities and they all border NYC. Thus making them part of the NYC Metropolitan area. Maybe coverage further inland or southern NJ may not be up to par, but that I know of all those cities (mentioned) bordering NYC have good or adequate coverage.
