Wednesday morning dose of M-MIMO. Took almost a week for the site to be online after removing the 8T8R equipment Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Spotted another M-MIMO site in Astoria this morning. Still wasn't active and was connecting to neighboring M-MIMO cell.. Explains why my speeds were slower yesterday. Speeds this location were 75Mbps to 125Mbps at all times of the day. Really hope the old 8T8R equipment get reused in neighboring markets that lack B41.

i actually tried with a Atlanta server from NordVPN and I got blocked. But once I selected a different Atlanta server it worked. They might be catching on.

https://www.rootmetrics.com/en-US/rootscore/map/metro/new-york-city-and-tri-state-area/2019/1H Sprint improved in every category. Not enough to up there ranking. The upload must be effecting the Network speed category.

I made some notes above. This is based on the maps in the premier section. If you want to send me the site IDs in the PMs I'll add them to my map

I didn't have location logging turned on for SCP so I only have the GCI's and the name I put for each site. I'll have to walk around again. At this point I have a feeling its a high capacity site.

I've been trying to track down all the Sprint sites in Astoria Queens to figure out which one I connect to in my apartment and see if I can spot anymore M-MIMO. Everytime I visit a Sprint or Clear site from the Maps on here I enter the cross streets or address in SCP. After entering all the sites in the area with SCP, my home site still isn't noted in SCP. After walking around the neighborhood I still can't figure out what site I'm connected to. I am correct to say that SCP saves the note based on the sites PCI? if that's the case I'm connecting to site which PCI is 303. I think I might have spot the site but it just seems way to close to othersites and its not on any of the maps on here. It could have been added after or during Network Vision. Anyone have any advice on how to track this down?

Forgot to mention that the COLT or COW with Saltilite backhaul wasn't in Walton when I returned a few weeks ago. T-mobile roaming was in full effect although it seemed like it was only B12

I thought the small cells in NYC where some of the nicest/ cleanest setups already. Edit: I figured out where this is on Roosevelt Island. Going to try to get there this weekend and test out the site. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Looks like it could be but very hard to tell. Any way you can get a better pic or figure out what building its on with Google Maps? Just trying to confirm if its a Sprint site

I recall seeing better images of these coverage maps somewhere when they first leaked but can't seem to find them now. As of now I've only included the sites that we have photo proof of M-MIMO equipment being present. For the ones you've found so far how have you been able to confirm M-MIMO equipment is there? If you have photos send them to me and I'll add them to the map.

I put all the M-MIMO site we've found in NYC on a google map. Also linked to the post in this thread so you can see the photos or other details. From my understanding they started the testing and deployment in lower Manhattan. Hopefully we can find more. Can't wait to get my hands on a 5G phone. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WtVBmfoB0H6ORmsTs1ei6lGNmqlbJJsU&usp=sharing

I think I found a new small cell located at 34th and Madison. What's interesting is it seems to be broadcasting 1x800 based on how strong the signal is. It was either only broadcasting 1 carrier or it didn't have CA active yet. Was able to reach 90Mbps at around 5:30. Doesn't show up on the last Google Street view images. A lot of rebuilds with B41 and B25/26 or just B25/26 on NY17 between Roscoe and Monticello. Previously these were all B25 only GMO site. Still a lot of coverage gaps between sites where I would drop Sprint LTE or hold on to B26 until -130dBm.

33rd St between Madison and Park. My signal used to be between -104 to -108, after the change I am between -100 to -104 and then today I noticed my signal was even strong keeping around -98. They must still be fine tuning. I also have been hitting download speeds between 75Mbps to 150 all day at work

The old Clear site that covered my office seems to have been replaced. This site would be offline for days almost once a month. All of last week the site was completely down. Finally came back online and stable earlier this week. SCP will display is as Sprint B41 MM or just Sprint B41. Not sure why it keeps switching but its deff not a MM site since the ##debug# menus shows 3xCA DL and 2xCA on UL. I wonder if this site could be M-MIMO

Forgot to share this earlier. EE Network in London on Essential PH-1. This was with a prepaid Sim card. Fastest LTE speds if ever seen in person. EE is the only carrier in the UK that Sprint doesn't have a roaming agreement with. They are known as the fastest and most coverage carrier there. Sent from my PH-1 using Tapatalk

is that T-mobile speed test with LAA?

Thanks for the information. I have to contact Samsung since I purchase the phone directly through them. Its very strange since I didnt have the issue at first and now seem to be getting worse as time goes by. edit: this reminds me of the Clearwire B41 issue Essential Phones had.
