Do you have the sprint or unlocked one? Samsung is selling the sprint version for $719 to match the unlocked price. They are also offering $300 for my V20 which is collecting dust. I just have to use there yearly upgrade financing program. I'll most likely just keep the phone for 2 year Just not sure if the unlocked version has HPUE calling plus and some other features

I think I might have to pick up a GS9 really soon, maybe even this weekend for testing in Chicago. Although I hate Samsungs UI they are they only company with a phone that support all of Sprints newest tech being deployed. I know the v30 had 4xCA but the GS9 has 5xCA. Haven't found any details for the LG G7, im a big LG fan so if it can rival the GS9 I might end up with that.

finally broke my speed record on Monday in Middle Village Queens. I've been here before but have never seen speeds this high. I was looking at the site on the rooftop when taking these test. Could this be 256QAM? I have the Essential and I'm not sure if its supports 256QAM on B41

I will be going back to Oneonta again this weekend but will be taking a different path through the catskills. I will be driving through Delhi Ny and I have a feeling I will find another temp site. The town has a small college so there is probably a lot of people visiting that have Sprint. It's the only carrier with no service in Delhi.

was . able to go back and get some more data. I noticed when i made a call it bounced me to verizon roaming. Also along my trip i was also roaming on ATT LTE which is pretty fast for roaming, ranged from .06mbps to .35mbps,, but would hit peak speeds of 1mbps during the test towards the beginning. I was able to snap some pics of the tower and it appears to be a temp site on a trailer. pings were high again so it might be satellite fed even though there is probably coax available for ethernet. Im curious if this site was set up for an event or just to save money on roaming. possibly until they add to the existing site right next to it. The tower appear to be pretty packed from Verizon, ATT and TMobile. Maybe they are waiting for new bigger tower to be build. I'll do some research for permits later tonight. sorry for the blurry pics, the driver didn't want to get closer.

Just found a new site in Walton NY. Very small town in between NY17 and I88. I haven't been there since November 2016 so Im not sure how new this could be but its not on the coverage maps. I was only able to pick up 1x800 or B26 LTE. Noticed high ping time but the server was in NYC.

Still waiting for the 3rd carrier to go live on my site at work. Also waiting on 10x10 to go live as well. I wonder which will come first. Averaging 30-40Mbps Download and 2 Mbps upload currently on B41

I hoping that CA on 5x5+10x10 on B25 comes soon. 5x5+5x5 came pretty soon after the second B25 5x5 carrier came online, just needed a phone that supported it.

All the GMO sites that recently had LTE turned on are lacking B26 and those sites tend to be the more rural ones which need B26.

noticed 10x10 2nd carrier in multiple subway stations. Also noticed it a few times around manhattan. One thing i noticed is that my phone will not do CA with the 10x10 and 5x5 carrier. But on site that haven't been updated to 10x10 the phone still does CA

Happy to see them doing this but they really should be replacing these sites with newer equipment. These clear sites are in some of the busiest areas. When Wimax was around these site provided all the coverage. I was hoping to see Mimo equipment replacing these sites this year.

i was still having the clear issue on the 8.1 beta. I upgraded to the official 8.1 and was still having issues. Today I switched the APN to the one titled "Sprint" instead of "n.ispsn" and it seems to be working

seems like they are doing the all parts of the NYC market minus NYC itself. Keep in mind the NYC market includes Westchester and up north to New Paltz. Even Long Island is getting this update. Manhattan and the suburbs must be low priority since B41 is so dense. The 10x10 really helps with magic boxes in area where there is no B41

10x10 is popping up all over NY. I picked it up in Syracuse market. I also picked it up at Ramapo Travel Plaza in Sloatsburg NY which is the NYC market. I have yet to see it in Manhattan though. I have also seen it pop up more in Long Island and I even spotted a new B41 site on LI.

I hope it is. The E4 + I'm using doesn't seem to do any B25 CA while my essential did with two 5x5 carriers. When I first connected to the 10x10 carrier yesterday I ran a speed test and the results were 5mbps on the download.

2018 is really shaping up to be Sprints year, They're off to a great start. Can't wait for the fiscal 2018 year to start so they have more money to spend on the network.

Don't know how I didn't see this. Glad to see I'm not the only one. Hopefully this is coming to NYC as well. This will help with VoLTE as well.
