  1. Not sure if anything changed but service in the subway has been terrible. Data is pretty much useless in the bigger stations. I hope transit wireless have a plan for 5G soon.
  2. Has anyone seen 4x CA on standalone 5G in NYC? I thought the z flip 5 was able to but I haven’t seen it yet
  3. I believe this site is now fully live and is also a gig+ site eNB 6269.
  4. Came here to find the oDAS. A few weeks ago I noticed a new one on my daily walk to the train. This morning I saw workers tearing up the road and sidewalk to fun fiber from across the street.
  5. I just noticed N71 is 15MHz and B71 doesn't exist anymore. I recall B71 being 10 MHz and N71 being 5MHZ. Then I thought they swapped to B71 5MHz and N71 10MHz. Then they leased spectrum from Dish and this allowed N71 to be bumped up to 15MHz but I thought B71 was stil broadcasting.
  6. Saw my first local keep site finally having work done. 31-77 32nd St Astoria. This roof only had Sprint on it previously. All the sprint antennas are now gone and there is one sector with T-Mobile Antennas now. Interesting that this site actually relied on microwave backhaul, which is now also removed, from a near by Sprint site at 23-35 Broadway. T-Mobile was also located there. I wonder if they had fiber installed on the keep site
  7. The Tram Sprint site was one of the first locations I found with N41 when it first launched.
  8. Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't have N25. I have a Galaxy Flip 4 and N25 doesn't show up in the *#BAND# menu. A little annoying since they took away 5mzh of B2 LTE and put it with unused 5MHZ PCS to deploy N25 in NYC. I guess I have access to less aggregated spectrum now.
  9. Just realized why I haven't seen it yet. My Z Flip 4 doesn't have N25. It doesn't even show up in the band menu to enable for my T-Mobile Sim. Only N41 N66 N71 and N260/N261.
  10. just noticed this in Manhattan. Not sure if N25 is live yet though.
  11. Anyone know why Signal check Pro shows NR38 when connected to SA NR41?
  12. Recently in Astoria my phone has been parked on SA N41 100mhz + 20mhz. Made a few calls to see if calls go over 5G but the phone drops down to VoLTE. I've also started to see SA N71 Primary with N41 secondary on Long Island.
  13. wow very close to the site on 31st and Park. Which also has CBRS but I've never connected to it. I believe the Fold 4 is able to. Maybe T-Mobile has the band disabled?
  14. My phone has been showing 5G at 33rd street for a long time. I think the DAS might be off or something since the the signal is never strong when I’m near the antenna.
  15. This can't come soon enough to Queensboro Plaza. Weather Sprint or T-mobile service has always been lacking in this area. On Sprint 3xCA B41 was also so slow as well as 100mhz of N41 now on T-Mobile
  16. Random update. Was all over Palm Beach County. New T-Mobile is way more solid then Sprint used to be. Here is a list of the network here. I only have a Galaxy S20 so I don't know if there are additional N41 carriers or N66 and N2 deployed T-Mobile B2 HSPA B2 20x20 + 10x10 B66 20x20 + 5x5 B41 20 + 20 B12 5x5 B71 5x5 N41 100 N71 15x15 Sprint B25 5x5 B26 5x5
  17. Just spotted 100 MHz NR41 this morning in Manhattan. While sitting at my desk I now have access to 200Mhz (40mhz of LTE, 60mhz of LAA, and 100mhz of 5G) B66+B2+B46+B46+B46+NR41. If I had a newer phone I think I would be able to aggregate 5G and have another 10mhz. Pretty sure my S20 Ultra doesn't support 5G CA with N71 and N41. Speeds at my desk which is on the 10th floor with no windows are ~500Mbps/60Mbps
  18. My only compliant since being on T-Mobile is the speeds on Transit wireless in the subways. They have yet to rearrange the spectrum. T-Mobile has yet to take over the Sprint spectrum and is only broadcasting 10x10 B2, 20x20 B4 and 5x5 B12. With the amount of Sprint users now on T-mobile this is nowhere near enough capacity during rush hour.
  19. Lucky, I pay $74.99 for 200/10 from Spectrum in Astoria Queens. My street doesn’t have Fios and I think RCN is only available across the street. Spectrum wants 94.99 a month for 400/20. 1Gbps x 35 is 134.99 but I’m not even sure it’s available in my area. I‘ve been hoping 5G home internet will be available at my address soon. My 5G is always faster then my wifi no matter the time of day.
  20. I didnt go into the store so thats why the signal is weak. Didn't know that the signal was coming from inside. Goes to show that MMwave really isn't good at penetrating walls and even glass no matter what verizon claims
  21. I just went to the store to see if I could connect and test the site. Didn't know it was a DAS in the store until I came here to post. I was able to connect and run a speed test. Wasn't able to get faster then ~400Mbps
  22. I haven't connected to any Band 48 yet. I think the Galaxy S20 Ultra only has B48 LTE not sure about N48 5G. Can these antennas be used for LAA/Band 46 or maybe the N41 antennas can? I am always connected to 3x20mhz of B46 inside my office which I didn't think had that much range and power to make it inside I normally connect to PC B2 20mhz SC1 B66 20mhz SC2 B46 20mhz SC3 B46 20mhz SC4 B46 20mhz NR N41 80mhz
  23. A while back this T-Mobile site got the full upgrade. It the site covering the NYC T-Mobile Corporate office so it's always getting upgraded. It has LAA and got N260 when T-Mobile originally launched 5G. Later on they added N71. It also received N41 pretty fast once the merger was official. The first picture is once it received N41 and I think it received new antennas for the other bands at the same time. The 2nd and 3rd picture are from today and I noticed the additional antenna above the N41 antennas and I've never seen this setup before. Was hoping someone could explain what they are for.
