  1. The Clear B41 site that I normally connect to has been on the fritz this week so I've been connecting to B25 on and off. I believe from a different site due to Clear sites being separate from Sprint Equipment. An employee told me there is a ticket and should be fixed soon. But B25 is actually handling pretty well for what it is but still no CA based on this screen shot
  2. I believe so, I have the LG V20. Wasn't it one of the first B25 CA phones on Sprint?
  3. I'm hoping the first major upgrades in NYC include upgrading all the Clear B41 equipment to 64t64r, 4x4 mimo, and 256QAM. They were the first B41 LTE sites to go live and are mostly in the more populated areas.
  4. I have not noticed 2x CA on B25 yet. I do notice a 2nd 5x5 B25 carrier on most of the time I do connect to B25. I don't connect B25 that much in Manhattan due to B41 density. In parts of Queens where I don't get B25 due to less site density or the site lacking B41 I have not noticed 2xCA either. I will keep an eye out this week for it. When I happen to drop to B25 deep inside a building in NYC my speeds are still great due to B41 handling most of the load.
  5. unloaded cell in Astoria Queens. Config 2 is going to be amazing
  6. My rooted Nexus 6 only shows 15x15 on B2 on Long Island and in Manhattan
  7. Yes I'm aware of that. Just trying to make a comparison. For the download link its a very close comparison
  8. Hopefully the improvements in Long Island and I have a feeling the same is happening in North NJ as well as most of the network, will allow Sprint to dominate the root metric report for NYC. I only recently realize how much more spectrum Sprint as than its competition. I tested out a Verizon sim and they only have 10x10 B17, 15x15 B2, and 20x20 B4. I honestly thought they have 20x20 for each band in NYC. Speeds on each band individually never reach over 10mbps. They only have 10 mhz more than T-Mobile; 5mhz more in the low band and 5 in the mid band for the smaller amount of customers this gives t-mobile a great advantage. But Sprint has a even greater advantage with even less customers and even more Spectrum. 75 x 75 if you combine is all but realistically it's 60 x 60 with 3xCA. When it comes to 3xCA Sprint has the most aggregated spectrum of any network.
  9. I thought that when I took the first Speedtest. They were different days so the 60mbps one was first even though the time was later. Thats from a Clear site. But once I took the 2nd one today and the upload was over 8Mbps I thought maybe they haven't switched the ratio yet. That one is from a MM site. Unless upload CA is in effect and my V20 supports itl
  10. I swear some how sprint is getting faster in NYC. First is at my desk at work on 33rd between Park and Madison, second is on 34th and Park.
  11. Almost as fast as my speed test I posted last week. Anyone know what the fastest test posted by a user was on here? I was confused by the "slightly faster than my home WiFi" comment because the speed test on the bottom of your post only showed in the 40s but I see you updated it now. You have the optimum 100 package. I had the 50 package but they upgraded it to the 60 package.I always hit above 60 and it will go up into the 70s sometimes.
  12. Got my fastest speed test ever in NYC last night http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/3249981164 Don't remember if it was 2xCA from a MM or 3x CA from a full site Here are all the test from that night My friend with AT&T did a speed test on his iPhone 6s and maxed out at 8mbps.
  13. The 123 subway station at Penn Station finally has B41. Its from the Transit wireless DAS but in the past it only had B25 LTE. Nice to see more B41 lighting up underground. I'm going to check the ACE side sometime this week as well.
  14. I wonder how the network is holding up at Global Citizen Festival. Anyone know if Sprint put any COWs in the park?
  15. With such a strong signal I thought it had to be the magic box. I wonder why that store has one if there is a small cell right down the block that reaches. I would hate to find out that they are sending them to stores to promote. there are so many customers waiting to get one.
  16. i thought that scp pro was suppose to say magic box instead of B41 MM. I'll have to go back there and see what it is.
  17. was walking past a sprint store in NYC yesterday night and figured it open SCP to see if I was connect to any sort of small cell in the store. To my surprise I was connected to a MM, which is odd when you are in the middle of the block. Most MM in NYC are on street corners. After walking past the first window and past the door I saw a magic box sitting in the 2nd window.
  18. Not really sure going by past experience and sensorly and the coverage map. in the past i would of said 1x verizon but 3g verizon roaming has been more common recently but now ATT LTE roaming has started to pop up. Would be great if you let us know your experience.
  19. It going to be spotty 3G or roaming. If you are going to Hunter mountain you will have service though.
  20. There was only 4 LTE sites between Albany and Binghamton. 2 were in Oneonta and 1 or 2 near Cobleskill. This is great news. There is also a lot of LTE between Binghamton and Liberty along NY17. Before there was none at all. This doesn't up on the coverage map either. I've spoke to someone at Sprint who is in touch with the coverage map team and they are fully aware of the issue. I missed the cut of for the update last month. Hopefully will be in the September update in about a week. If not defiantly in October.
