  1. I hope they've done more than a few sites...I guess we'll know on Thursday
  2. Does anyone know exactly how much 2.5 spectrum sprint will have here for LTE after WiMAX shuts down on Monday? I keep getting an error when I try to look on the FCCs website.
  3. I don't see why sprint wouldn't want 800. It would be like a backup band. Ideally most traffic should be over 1900 and 2500.
  4. Wow so we're at what 3 20mhz carriers now ?????
  5. Awh...ill probs be heading out there but it will be early April
  6. My experience with Verizon roaming has been pretty weird. I cannot seem to pass data over EVDO although my phone picks it up. Verizon 1x loads things but my phone pretty much always picks up EVDO over 1x. Tried a PRL update with no luck. Anyone else seeing this?
  7. With Tmos 700mhz their LTE coverage is as good as if not even better than their GSM/WCDMA coverage. Also, there is a technology available today which Tmo uses that allows voice handoff between LTE and WCDMA.
  8. They aren't useless...there's still LTE. Sprint will probably use their A block license to deploy CDMA at some point. It's just that they have to have something up in the G-Block by March 3rd.
  9. To see your band, dial *3001#12345#* and select Serving Cell Info. You should see a field called Freq Band Indicator. That's your frequency band.
  10. See the Qualcomm X16 modem: https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/modems
  11. Sprint does use 4x4 MIMO tho which will surely help
  12. It would be cool if sprint did something like tmobiles test drive.
  13. That would be nice and pretty effective imo but I would change the 3GB to 7GB. A national carrier definitely cannot operate on $40 unlimited plans. Plus sprint is deep in depth. They need to be bringing in more money that just enough to cover operating costs. They have to start making payments.
  14. I roam on Verizon 1x (and now EVDO) at least once a week. At both of my best friends places there is pretty much no sprint signal and I can name a few other areas I know I always roam.
  15. Dial *3001#12345#* and call to pull up field test
