  1. That is possible. I haven't seen PCS GSM/EDGE or PCS WCDMA/HSPA in a while though. This may be because I am on the edge of cell on AT&T in most places I spend my time...
  2. In Seattle AT&T has all GSM/EDGE/WCDMA on 850, 10x10 B17 LTE, 10x10 B2 LTE and some WCS.
  3. Here AT&T has no EDGE on PCS - they refarmed that to LTE. They do have EDGE on 850 which is why this is so confusing.
  4. No I know that, it's just that on AT&T, WCDMA/HSPA eclipses the range of edge. I live on the edge of cell for AT&T as well but I never see edge. It's always -120ish LTE, -110ish to -120ish WCDMA/HSPA or No Service. Is it just the way that T-Mobile has programmed their phones or does edge truly have a greater range than WCDMA/HSPA. Sometimes tmos edge gets up to 3 bars so I don't really know what to think.
  5. My buddy gave me his old phone and it's unlocked so I picked up a T-Mobile SIM to check out the service again because I haven't looked at them in a while. Does anyone notice that T-Mobile phones have a very hard time holding on to a weak HSPA/WCDMA signal and drop to edge a lot because when I set my phone down on a table for a while, it picks up a bar on 4G but as soon as I pick it up, it goes to edge.
  6. On the sensory website if you zoom in, you can see when the coverage in an area was recorded. If I remember correctly, the LTE in Alaska is bogus but you can check. If it was updated this February to March then it's legit.
  7. Aggregated band 41 carriers are on different frequencies. 800mhz is all on 1 frequency. Same frequency + same frequency = interference.
  8. Verizon doesn't have 2.3ghz. Verizon only holds 700, 800, 1900 and AWS (2100). AT&T might have 2.3ghz tho because they are rolling out WCS rn
  9. This is awesome! One thing I noticed is that your APN is n.nv.ispsn...shouldn't it just be n.ispsn?
  10. Awesome! Excited to hear what you find!
  11. Wait so have you seen any LTE on I-90 or in other areas of Montana or even Missoula that you haven't napped?
  12. Why would sprint just give away their spectrum with no roaming deal or anything?
  13. I'm working on getting the money together. Hopefully I'll be able to donate soon...
  14. Dang how do you become an honored premier sponsor?
  15. I see sprint doing a full pcs to LTE refarm soon but leaving the 1x800 carrier for a while
  16. Does anyone have a map or information on where the sites acquired from CellularOne in Montana actually are?
  17. No word on when it will roll to the US/Sprint right
  18. I'm heading to France this week and was checking which provider had the best service considering I might be picking up a local SIM card and stumbled across "4G+" on sensorly. When I clicked the caption, it said that it was carrier aggregation. How come there isn't 4G+ for sprint - there should be a ton considering the availability of 2.5 LTE now...I've attached screenshots of the 4G+. http://m.imgur.com/IeKQdVJ http://m.imgur.com/nWvD0Ht
  19. Wow. Let us know what you find Robert!
  20. It also says copyright OpenStreetMap which is new
  21. Yea I noticed the same thing last night. I think they're doing something with the maps...maybe something to do with the new coverage we're seeing in the Dakotas/Montana/Alaska?
  22. EARFCN of 700 indicates a center downlink frequency of 1940mhz and a center uplink frequency of 1860mhz. Looks like it's in the a block.
