  1. Sprint has LTE800 on every because the network is spaced for PCS CDMA. They are roughly equivalent in range.
  2. I never suggested that sprint would do anything with the b12 - just that they sit on it until T-Mobile offers them some nice PCS spectrum for it. Ultimately, T-Mobile NEEDS lowband so sprint could demand some supplemental spectrum in areas where necessary in exchange. T-Mobile can then go through the whole process of working with the channel 51 broadcasters on their own.
  3. I don't agree. Why waste your lowband's capacity on people who are in range of your midband/highband? It doesn't really make sense to me. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure T-Mobile's b12 is not 4x2, just regular old 2x2.
  4. I don't think there's a way for me to get 54052 off my iPhone...did any one else get 54052 that would be so kind as to upload it so we could figure out the differences?
  5. Is this from PRL 55052 or PRL 54052? I've noticed one of my friends with an andriod got 55052 while it seems that iPhone users received 54052...
  6. Correction - tap serving cell info and then look at what freq band indicator says.
  7. Has anyone had a chance to look through PRLs 55052 and 54052 to see what's changed yet?
  8. They probably wouldn't do a second carrier if they have contiguous spectrum, rather they would just expand the original carrier to 10x10 or even better a 15x15 carrier.
  9. As someone who has spent a lot of time in IT working with regular old Joes that just want their computer to connect to the internet, I say no. Most regular people have to idea what the hell WiMAX is (was) and offering the whole WiMAX situation as an excuse to them is pointless. Most regular people just want things to work and they honestly couldn't care less how or why they work. On top of that, NGN was going to be the one thing that really improved sprints network before the end of the 18-24 months. As far as I know, the WiMAX hold up didn't affect NGN's timeline at all. NGN was about densifying and installing new small cells. Whether sprint has 40mhz of free spectrum or 60mhz of free spectrum doesn't affect their ability to install small cells. Yes, maybe lack of spectrum affects their ability to use them but that's all resolved now isn't it? And we're still pretty far away from the final date...
  10. No what I'm saying is that when I roam on Verizon EVDO on my sprint phone it doesn't load anything but it works fine on my Verizon MiFi. It's perplexed me - I can't seem to come up with a good explanation.
  11. Yea I think I was the poster of that thread. I only asked again because there was a chance that previously unknown information surfaced. I feel the same pain though.
  12. A PRL update seems to have caused the problem so it is only natural thinking that another PRL update will fix it. I have experienced the same thing ever since I got PRL 55051 and no, it is not that Verizon's CDMA network has become decrepit in my area for my Verizon hotspot works fine on CDMA. I don't really know what the problem is but it sure seems like it was that 55051 PRL update.
  13. (Or kalispell? We haven't had anyone up there yet)
  14. Yes due to a great capacity increase (this will be evident over the next few weeks)
  15. Ok I feel very stupid now ????. Another question though: is there a way to use the GCI to obtain the cascade ID of a site?
  16. Does anyone know how to acquire the GCI of a site on an iPhone? We can see Phisical Cell ID, Tracking Area Code and Cell Identity. Is there a way to derive the GCI with this information?
