Question out of curiosity: if someone ran CDMA, EDGE, HSPA and LTE all on the same frequency, how would the ranges compare to each other?

Either way no harm done right?

Not sure about android but on iPhone the carrier name is always reported as sprint even when roaming. The indicator at the top changes to extended but all of the signalcheck-like apps report the carrier to be sprint. Mb it's different on android idk. I just thought it would be good so that people that looked at sensory would be able to see everywhere they would get LTE on sprint roaming or not.

Sprint "Open World" plan (replaces International Value Roaming)
RAvirani replied to lilotimz's topic in General Topics
It's $30/gig (billed per kb) but you get 3G speeds. Global roaming is free but it's 64kbps. Both are 20¢/min and free text. -
The thing is, with the map update, enhanced is not shown as default - regular LTE is...

I notice this when I am texting Verizon users all the time

Where was this

Sprint needs to hop on this site. Yosemite is a high traffic area and sprint doesn't want to be relying on roaming here...

Probably a glitch considering it's just been released. I don't think US cellular will be pseudo native.

I like it better when the coverage map has closer colors. Like how project Fi coverage looks a lot better than sprints

Ohhh that makes sense. -
No that cannot be because sprint doesn't have 800 in Seattle but it is an LTE plus market. I think it just means 2.5 with CA/beamforming.

Isn't 10mhz still a pretty big space? I don't see how there can be interference with that much gap... -
Still says Spark when I load the page...

I have an airave. If I turn it off and disable LTE, I get numbers north of -100 1x and rarely 3G and sometimes no service. Airave and Wi-Fi Calling to call and SMS goes over LTE I think.
