It seems like it is getting harder and more expensive to get a nationwide swath of spectrum. I'm not sure what the financials of the deal are, but you could look at it as Sprint received the spectrum, customers and direct connect from Nextel. I wonder how that compares to what they would have paid for just spectrum.

In other words, they are going to jack up the prices and offer their products to businesses on the premise of less apps and more security than the Apple and Android competition. It may be their only chance at remaining viable.

Everyone is having difficulties going from GB to ICS. I think Google will learn from the Nexus S experience and conduct business differently when it comes to the next generation of Android.

I wonder how agressive they will go. With the EVO 3D making it to Virgin, there is an outside chance it could also go to republic. That LG windows phone is another candidate. Some Samsung Galaxy entry-level 3G phone could also make it on to republic.

I hate it too! I hate it too! Most of the people I know who have used the term "droid" to refer to an Android phone have been properly yelled at for it and no longer talk to me about phones.
