  1. It is actually Mb that they are getting. A byte is 8 bits. If speeds were represented in megabytes per second, everything would be 1/8 of what we see advertised now in megabits per second. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  2. What are you using to check the speed? Nearly all speed tests are measured in megabits per second or Mbps and not megabytes per second or MBps. Sprint's 3G network is not even capable of 1 MBps Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

  6. SprintFeed was very credible. Mark has to appease his new bosses, and if that means publishing a story that he knows or suspects is misleading, he may feel he has no other choice. It got their name out there in a big way. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  7. Her CDMA RSSI was slightly higher but I suspect it was from a higher Ec/Io number on the nexus. Also, it almost looked like we were connected to different towers. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  8. I will do a side by side comparison when the wife gets home and report back. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  9. I'd like to see the proof that the LTE chip actually gets poorer CDMA connections. Sounds like rumormongering. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  10. The sticker says "Qualcomm 4G" Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  11. Howardforums.com generally has a lot of info on flashing to other carriers. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  12. http://www.theverge.com/2012/4/18/2958717/galaxy-s-ii-successor-s-iii-quad-core More quad core rumors, but this one makes it sound like we may not see the quad core in the states as it specifies that the "global" version will have the quad core. In order to support LTE, Samsung may have to slap something else in for Sprint. I wouldn't worry too much though as the exynos was said to be LTE capable. We'll find out in a couple weeks for sure.
  13. I wonder if there will be a flood of 4G sites since there will finally be devices available to access LTE.
  14. Please check out the discussion here: http://s4gru.com/ind...ming-to-sprint/ Or here: http://s4gru.com/ind...see-a-lte-note/ I'm closing this topic since one has already been established
  15. Did you get rid of the Sprint proxy server?
  16. Closed because we want to avoid rant threads.
  17. lol I was a boy scout, always be prepared Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  18. I think it would be fine with most customers to make a bigger screen, as long as it isn't too drastic. If they went to 3.75 or 4 without making too much of an overall size increase, it will be well received. If they went to 4.5+, it would turn some people off, but they wouldn't be that dumb. Apple knows what they've doing. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  19. I think you'll notice by looking around this site that sprint is aggressively improving 3G and rolling out 4G. That is what we are focused on here. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  20. Can't remember what the number was, but I have an ic phone somewhere. I will have to dig it up. I don't know where the battery is though.
