CDMA mode didn't change the behavior for me. Only three legacy sites left around here and I am not near them. I will keep an eye on it... Wondering if next time the radios are updated the problem will go away...

Well, I hope it is software related and fixable... The phone does become useless for the 10 seconds or so that it does the whole "no signal" thing.... -
After some thought, I am not thinking it is the LTE search thing -- because I tried to set my phone to CDMA only and it still did the quick drop thing (if LTE is disabled, it shouldn't search for it)... So I am thinking it is a combination of my Airave (2.0), my neighbors (Airave 2.5) being picked up quite strongly through my signal booster, and the weak 1x800 signal I am getting in the area...

That makes sense... I have an LTE site about 7 miles away... And I wonder if my signal booster and that site are causing my phone to do exactly what you are saying... That and an 1x800 site that I keep switch to and from... And a neighbors 2.5 airave... And my 2.0 airave... And two other 1x1900 sites around 5 miles away... Oh and I was confused because your profile still shows Note 2, just FYI...

This is exactly what is happening on my new Galaxy Mega -- I see you mentioned your "old Note 2".. what are you using now? I wasn't having this problem on my Galaxy S4 -- I am not sure if I am getting this due to ( a ) Network issues (they are going crazy on 800 here right now) ( b ) A phone problem or ( c ) A tri-band issue....

Three issues on this phone (or network??)... one is Wi-Fi calling keeps failing to start... two is that I can not text on my airrave (have to shut it off).. three it seems to lose signal for a few moments once and awhile (seems to be in fringe areas)... Anyone else? Any ideas on what it could be... always concerned with issues like that when buying off of eBay, etc... EDIT: I appear to be getting texts and MMS over my Airrave today... Maybe it just needed a night off.. Still have the brief lost signal issue and the failed wi-fi calling...

Yeah we are getting LTE all over here now -- and now we are filling in with the 1x800, too.... I can not wait for it to fill in more and then start seeing LTE800 (on my new Mega)...

I have a neighbor that wants to do a Framily with me (5 plus his 2 lines gets us to 7)... We both have lines under contract (but upgraded before Jan 10th)... Have I understood it correctly that this is not allowed under the current rules?

I thought I saw a commercial today that showed the T-Mobile one much less coverage than the Sprint one -- so maybe there is an updated commercial floating around?
