  1. LAX can lick balls. Spent a lot of time in the area last summer. Much prefer going in and out of Santa Ana / John Wayne. Had to do LAX a handful of times when I spent some time up in Van Nuys. Really not interests in going to that mess again. Airport itself was fine, but once you leave the airport is when it gets a bit shifty. lol
  2. THAT is pretty awesome. Just added a year to my Amazon Prime as well!
  3. Google was slow to update Google Maps, but there really is no excuse for apps to not be updated yet. Frustrating for sure.
  4. Same on my iPhone 6. Seems crazy to have a big jump like that.
  5. Same thing I was thinking. Really did not look like a 'standard' sprint setup to me. There are multiple companies (maybe all?) that now mount RRU's up top, so that isn't really a good way to 'spot' sprint stuff any longer. Errrrr... Just zoomed in closer. Now I see. Second from the top definitely looks like Clear equipment I've seen.
  6. If that's the case, then I stand corrected. I thought SMS over wifi calling (with zero native service) was a network side thing thing.
  7. Non-iphone to non-iPhone still won't work if you don't have native service (and are relying on wifi calling) so why the sudden have for iPhones here?
  8. How does using an iPhone wall someone off from wifi calling sms? Wifi calling SMS is not working on any Sprint phone as far as I'm aware. I presume whenever it is implemented by Sprint, then everyone - including iPhone users will be able to utilize it. Why wouldn't they? Or is my sarcasm detector wayyyyy off today?
  9. I would wager that his boss also has an iphone, and both phones are using imessage. That works.
  10. For sure - pretty awesome. Noticed this morning that I now get B41 IN my house. -113 signal. I am normally always on wifi so I never bother to check - but we had a small power outage this morning so my router dropped for a minute. B41 on the main floor of the house is Completely usable. Drops to B26 when I'm in the basement, but I am perfectly fine with that. ???????? Still waiting on 10x10 B25 though. There are two sites in Pontiac IL - both have 10x10, The site in Chenoa IL has 10x10. The site in Forrest IL has 10x10. Kinda odd that we don't have it yet in Fairbury. Don't NEED it, but it sure would make it more fun to swing my e-peen around.
  11. Bump again. For the first time ever, I just caught a second B41 carrier on the Fairbury tower. Woohoo. No CA capable phone, but I got a 77.83 download / 14.72 upload speed.
  12. Yep - and this really isnt anything groudbreaking. For Sprint, maybe, but for greater corporate America - this has been happening in places all over.
  13. Fairbury. The tower in question is one that came along with Project Ocean. Here's a quick google maps thing that I put together showing where the tower is, and the approximate directions the sectors are aiming. The red highlighted areas are areas that frequently fell to 3G. Does not appear to be an issue any longer...
  14. Bumping back up here. Looks like Sprint has finally done some optimization work on my local tower. There were a few places in town where my phone would bump back to 3G. I'm in one of those locations now and have a -99 dbm reading on B25 and scored a 20down/5up speed test. Pretty impressive for an area that previously dropped back to 3G.
  15. 55030 this morning on my Iphone 6+ as well.
  16. What a load of garbage. 90 days to do what? The idiots get another 90 days do spread online propeganda? GTFO. Hopefully Sprint buttoned up EVERYTHING other than the immediate areas affected. That injunction does indicate that it does not require Sprint to 'reactivate any parts of the WiMAX service which have already been shut down'
  17. I predict FW reporting on whatever negative they can, before the call has even ended.
  18. I went through this exact issue. If LTE is weak, the phone tries to hang onto that LTE signal and will refuse to grab the signal from the Airave. The answer to this is to disable LTE, and the phone instantly grabs the Airave.
  19. My assumption based off of your assumption ( ) is that the customer in question uses an Airave?
  20. Just wanted to say thanks again for this app. Even with the NC widget not working, it is awfully damn nice to be able to click on the cellularinfo icon and see what I'm connected to. Jailbroke on 9.0.2 here.
