  1. I should have changed the title to this thread, but the Mac is tied directly with iPhone now through iCloud, and even more so now with 10.10.3 tying Photos into all of it.
  2. I still look at it on and off, but no site do I spend as much time on as I do here on S4GRU. Gigaom had some great articles for the Mac. I guess I should go look them up and pdf them.
  3. I'm sorry to see Gigaom shutting down. A very good resource that I used to look at all the time.
  4. My friend likes the New MacBook. When I have the money, I might buy her one. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  5. They don't call it MacBook Air. It's the replacement to the MacBook they discontinued a while back. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  6. It just showed back up on sprint.com . It was off for a while, and so was the M8, but when the M8 showed back up, the M8 H/K dropped off. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  7. Band 41 is coming. It might take a while, but it'll be here. I saw Band 41 in Fresno about half a mile east of Whole Foods too. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  8. Upgrading to 10.10.3 beta now Update: I seriously don't understand why iCloud Photo Library can't upload more than 3 photos from either my phone or my iPad without freezing. Now it's saying that I have to be logged into iCloud. WTH.
  9. My problem is at&t only covers bits and pieces of town with DSL, and being converted to Uverse internet, no tv. Digis (WISP) covers the entire town, but ever since they merged with WaveDirect, their network went to crap, and the local cable company only covers about 50% or so of town, and yes, they have lines less than a mile from me, but won't run the lines down my street without $5,000.
  10. Well, Angry Birds Transformers sure takes a lot of battery life. 23% of my 4 hrs, 24 mins of usage. And Facebook took 18%.
  11. I pay $45/mo for 3/1 and only get on average 1.5/.75. I'm not happy about it either.
  12. It's a mistake. The GB should not be there. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  13. 6GB? That's whack! Something at Sprint screwed up. Edit: I think they put the wrong thing on there. Mine says 4GB. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  14. Hopefully by freak chance we will finally get wifi calling on Sprint, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm thinking it's primarily being released for Apple Watch. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  15. I'll just leave this here. iOS 8.2 launches next week, official change log and release notes here http://bgr.com/2015/03/05/ios-8-2-release-download-change-log-notes/ Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  16. I really think this deal is to get people to switch from a single band to Tri-band phone, and the price is the same for upgrades. I didn't get a chance to go into a store yesterday and see if they are matching this price in store or not, but with many of the discounts for buying on Easy Pay they are offering in store. And I think this is a great starter phone for anyone transitioning from a basic phone to a smartphone. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  17. One, that's not a minimum, and two, how many devices have adopted Intel chipsets? Very few, and I don't expect the market to change much over the next few years, especially on the CDMA front. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  18. Most first generation Sprint Samsung LTE devices haven't seen an update long before those Class II filings, and I don't ever expect Sprint to push such patches, or Samsung either. The I can't recall specifics for the LG Viper or HTC EVO LTE, I'll have to look them up later after I get off work later today. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  19. My 3GS and my 4 were black. My 5 was silver & white, and my 5S was gold, and my 6+ is gold. I definitely won't buy another color than gold unless they make a blue anodized aluminum. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  20. As far as I know, just Shentel, which is ALU. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  21. Nahum, it's nice to see the SNR on CellularInfo. Awesome, and thanks! Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  22. Meanwhile, I went back to using my iBlason case because the Otterbox is driving me nuts. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  23. Just out of curiosity, is there a call in Core Telephony that you can pull the carrier when our devices are roaming? Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
