  1. Sprint's "network" in Las Vegas was build years ago by Cox Wireless, which was sold to Sprint, and most of rural California was built by Ubiquitel, which was bought out by Sprint over the Nextel fiasco. T-Mobile's network covering most of California and Southern Nevada was built by Cingular, and divested to T-Mobile as a result of the AT&T Wireless merger because AT&TWS had a network built out. 2. Question is, will Sprint white list the ESN for this device, and are the CDMA radios disabled in firmware. We don't know. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  3. Vegas is Alcatel-Lucent land, and faring far better than Riverside. My guess is incompetent planning departments and permit applications missing data. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  4. Not even the duopoly covers 100% of the land mass of the United States. In some rural areas, it's not feasible. Interstates, yes; US Highways, most likely; state highways, maybe; county and other rural roads, no. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  5. My definition of rural is when I have to drive over 1 mile to go to a grocery store. I live 6 miles from the nearest grocery store. I grew up in Vegas. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  6. Are you saying that Sprint and TMO should neglect rural areas in a sort? I live in a rural area where even coverage in my house sucks with the duopoly, and the closest AT&T, Verizon, and TMO sites are 3 miles from me, and the closest Sprint site is 5 miles from me, and yet, service is the same for all 4 carriers. Building up your numbers in concentrated areas is like putting all your eggs in one basket. Someone runs into you, you drop the basket, and SMASH! Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  7. I think what I'll do is become a beta tester without a jailbreak. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  8. Ripped the plastic screen protector off my Otterbox just a few minutes ago and put my Zagg Glass back on. Wow! I forgot how good the tempered glass felt, not to mention how much more responsive my screen is now. I'm happy to have it back on.
  9. That sure took long enough to get done. Spark should be broadcasting from the Clearwire equipment on the same tower or the other tower at that school, so it could be a while before we see Band 41 8T8R equipment on that tower. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  10. Yes, the current Tapatalk is universal. For you to do that, you would have to backup to iTunes on a computer, then delete from your iPad and add Tapatalk to your iPad through iTunes. If you have Tapatalk in iTunes already, then you have to delete the current version and when you backup your phone, choose yes to transfer purchases. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  11. Ok. I'm downloading the IPSW on my Mac right now. Which is the best jailbreak to use?
  12. An awesome start! What do you think is causing the weird bandwidth measurement? Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  13. Yes, I agree. We can just leave the other topic in the premier thread and use the topic in the iOS thread. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  14. No restore? Do I lose all data if I do that? Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  15. This equipment was probably FCC Certified around a year ago when there was barely anything for Sprint LTE compatible DAS systems. I expect that Sprint Band 41 LTE will be deployed on DAS systems later this year. DAS equipment has been on a slower cycle than macro-cell and small-cell equipment. Sprint should have some band 41 around the stadium as long as the towers by there are upgraded with the proper equipment and integrated. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  16. I think it was Band 5 LTE roaming it won't support right out of the box, similar in fashion to how the G2 didn't support Spark until a firmware update enabled it. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  17. Yes, there is interest. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  18. "He" won the CMA that covers Nye County, NV. I'd like to know who he is too!

    Nope, nothing yet.
  21. They were getting some subsidy, but the plan to offer it was announced already a couple months ago. As of now, they are still in planning stages and I think I remember the article saying 2016 for deployment, but i don't remember. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  22. I use that the most too. However, just from looking at the screenshots, I prefer 3.1.1 better. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  23. What the FCC did today was just give my local electric company the open door they need to make sure that we will get HSI from them. Not sure what their plans were for lowest tier Internet, but now they have to at least offer that. Both AT&T and Digis just got kicked out of the broadband class of Internet service providers, but that's ok. Just means when the electric company starts Internet service, the other ISP's will have to step up their game. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
