  1. A minimum amount of bands? Verizon's Upper 700 C band 13, overburdened in most markets; AT&T's Lower 700 band 17, overburdened in most markets, Sprint's Extended PCS band 25, overburdened in many markets, and T-Mobile's AWS band 4, starting to slow down in a number of markets. Wow, that looks very counter intuitive to me. Sprint has 3 LTE bands it's deploying on, AT&T, 4 or 5, Verizon, 4, and T-Mobile, 3, and working on a 4th with LAA. For truly universal devices, there would have to be 10 or more LTE bands per device, for just the U.S. market, not counting international roaming. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  2. About that. My contact with the executive team talked to people in network, and they said they are still working with Apple. They do not have an estimated time to release. They are keeping very tight-lipped about it. Also, they are saying that Apple has to approve PRL's too before they are pushed to the iPhone, but I'm not fully sure that that is right.
  3. OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Public Beta 1 has been released today. For those that are in the Public Beta Program, you can update to it in the Mac App Store.
  4. If anyone does not now own the Sharp AQUOS Crystal, now's the time to buy it. Currently only $5/mo on Sprint Easy Pay. That's only $120 for the phone. Sharp AQUOS Crystal on Sprint.com
  5. It'll be nice if I'm wrong on that. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1

  7. The Verizon G920V, which is one of the 2, supports CA. My guess is the US variants are getting Snapdragons again.
  8. I expect the S6 Edge to be priced $100 over the S6 like the Note Edge is $100 over the Note 4.

  10. Well, the Note Edge has 2 carrier CA on Band 41, so the S6 & S6 Edge should have that as a minimum. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  11. They used to give you 10 minutes grace for iPhone appointments and 15 for Mac appointments. They must have dropped it. That sucks.
  12. So it sounds like Band 13 is still pretty burdened down because of not enough people on Band 4 devices yet. As for T-Mo HSPA+, that's pretty good. About a year ago when I had my local WISP install Internet at my house, one of their techs said that T-Mo HSPA here had dropped from 6 Mbps to can't stream Pandora in a matter of a few months, so I was quite surprised for a small town for it to go to crap that quickly. 13. Ok. I misunderstood what you had typed. How's VZW & T-Mo working? Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  14. How's AT&T's HSPA in your area? Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1

  16. I've found 1 Clearwire conversion permit as of the end of 2014, and a new site permit as of the end of January. The permit should be approved soon. And yes, there has been at least 1 Clearwire site in Vegas shut down, but Band 41 already covers the area, as well as Band 25, and as of this summer, Vegas Band 26 should go live if all goes well with San Bernardino County. So I would not call this reduction in coverage. And believe me, permitting can take anywhere from 2 hours to 2 years to get approval. It's not unheard of. And since the Nextel sites thing is still a rumor, then they should already have engineers working on the plans so they can submit them as soon as they are ready to start the project. I believe you'll see permits start showing up by end of March, middle of April. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1
  17. Yeah, online. I never knew they offered it before that. Sent from Josh's iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk 3.1.1

  20. I thought we had a dedicated Radio Shack thread. But anyway, the Standard General/Sprint deal has now been given approval from the US Bankruptcy courts. http://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/news/2015/02/27/radioshack-sprint-bankruptcy-deal-approved.html?ana=yahoo
