Android Police has posted a pic that might match that last device on the Sprint roadmap from April. According to the article it has a Snapdragon S4.

Could this be fake, or maybe this is our next mystery device.

I read that last night. Although I wont say it is impossible, I will say it hasn't been on the lab schedules. I'm not convinced yet.

So that unidentified phone in Sprint's lab is definitely something other then this?

I think the device in the lab now is a flagship phone. I don't think this "thing" fits the bill.

This phone is definitely not a flagship phone, not being 12mm thick and having 800*480 wvga resolution. But if it has s4 in it and a gig of ram then it could very well be the fastest phone on sprints line up since it has a lot less pixels to push, LOL.

Could very well just be a leaked proof of concept prototype or a network test phone for NV...

At 12mm thick, I'm guessing it's a qwerty device. It would still be slightly thinner than the original Epic 4G. Pretty close in specs and dimensions to the AT&T Samsung Captivate Glide, but with a S4.

I didn't even think of that, 12mm thick for a device with a hardware keyboard is pretty awesome, only if it had a higher resolution though.

Higher resolution would be nice. I haven't noticed the low resolution much on my Evo Shift, so it doesn't bother me too much. I sure noticed it against the E4GT though.

Thats the thing though, you never really notice that sort of thing until you see something else with an even higher resolution.

I agree, just swapped my Epic Touch for the EVO 3D (I have both, just testing an ICS ROM for the 3VO), and I miss that higher res screen.
