how about ct lol.   Fiber is not necessary cable company need to start spending money to upgrade systems.  Start splitting nodes and adding more nodes/fiber.   Is Google hiring?

Yep I am pumped that Raleigh has been picked for Google fiber.  

 

Just wish they didn't chary pick hoods.

They pick cites based off ease of install, including the way the city is actually set up and if they are willing to give Google mass permits and waive a few of the normal road blocks so they can get in and get it done(saves a lot of money). If you really want this to go through you need to make it clear to your politicians that they need to give Google what they need, or theyll go somewhere that will.
