  1. We may get Google fiber so, can't wait for that!!!
  2. Yep I am pumped that Raleigh has been picked for Google fiber. Just wish they didn't chary pick hoods.
  3. Well I am glad because Time warner cable internet speeds just suck VS Comcast. 15/1 cost the same as 20/5 on Comcast 20/2 cost the same as 50/10 on Comcast. So yea Time warner cable can die. It's time they suck with old tech. I am rooting for the buy out because It can't really get much worse for time warner cable costumers. I may even make a pension or sign one for letting the deal go though. The enjoy better jokers can take there 60% packet loss and broken LTE interfering old plants out the door.
  4. Well now I am the loves speedtest guy. The funny thing is I have 700+ post in other places and I never got a custom title before. So now I just have to run my next speedtest before bed like I always do.
  5. Getting the phone with out the upgrade being pushed though the system that same day, yes you basely have to know one because the person could then go to a 2nd store and use the upgrade again and then it a big mess for the store reps. For keeping unlimited data no you don't have to know them well just DON'T go to a Verizon owned store because they will do every thing in there power to rip unlimited data away. Only a 3rd party store would be willing to do this. You need at lest one non unlimited data plan line to do this though.( To put the phone on for activation only, then put it back on your unlimited line.)
  6. My point was not to bash sprint, it was to say that they both alike when it came to there networks. But Sprint is now on it's way to fixing all that and I think T-mobile can too. Not saying they will, but can and I think we can have 4 big players.
  7. About less than 56kbs or in that one case with LTE at 73kbs 3G wouldn't pick up to do anything. Though my S4 won't let me force 3G, I will have to find out how to do so some time soon. Also my upgrade is now posted on my Verizon and my contract ends on 8/5/2015 with unlimited DATA.
  8. Um the same could have been said for sprint before NV with 3G speeds more like 2G speeds and a smaller 4G footprint than even T-moblie. And on top of that T-mobile has been still making money Vs sprint that has been losing money hand over fist. I think if some one wanted to enter the mobile data game, T-mobile would be way better than to try and build your own from the ground up. But really I think they have a chance of doing just fine with out a buy out happening to them.
  9. cheese cake
  10. So can any one sign up for RST Global Communications 1gbs or is that just coming later? Looking at there web site I see a Business/Residential part but no pricing so I am guessing it's very high or they don't sell it yet? As for sprint LTE I am disappointed that they have not fixed it yet and that the online map shows something that is not there.
  11. Now it would be nice if some one with deep pockets other than AT&T, Softbank or Verizon sunk money in to buy T-mobile to then upgrade there 2G foot print to 4G LTE, got rid of the pink and the T-mobile name and rebooted there rep so that they could better fight the big two. Also the mobile broadband plans are over priced, they need to lower them or redo the pricing on those. ( Not cell phone plan's, hotspot/tablet plans.)
  12. So now we have the grandfather of sprint LTE and the lol guy. Can I be the Verizon hater for posting so many slow speed test videos on my youtube? and LOL
  13. I know that better than most here seeing every thing from 60mbs to 75kbs. ( Yes killobit per second like 2G speed.) Video: As for how I did it, I know a guy who works for them and put the phone in the system under a line that was not my unlimited one, BUT used my unlimited lines upgrade to do it. The reps at the Verizon owned stores like to tell you that you can't do that and are told to rip your unlimited away when they do that or any upgrade at all on a unlimited line. But he works for a 3rd party store so they don't have that kind of control to do that.
  14. AT&T is putting 700 LTE on Every tower Vs Verizon spacing them more far apart with some 3G 1900 CDMA only towers being left in the dust. AT&T down tilts the 700 LTE for better in building and less load per tower for better over all speeds.
