Sprint phones weren't used, but the results were interesting nonetheless.
S4GRU
Based on anecdotal reports, the Moto X seems to perform really well on Sprint's Band 25 too. It's too bad that they didn't come out with a Triband model like Samsung did with the GS4. The Dave
I was really intrigued by the Moto X when it first came out until I found out it was band 25 only. Hopefully they will make a follow-up model that will perform like Moto is known for across all three bands.

WiWavelength
Performance must be due to the highly RF transparent wood backplate. AJ

Ascertion
dude they missed it with the non-update of the original photon... which is why i probably will never buy another motorola.... to bad to, because they have great radios Motorola has been the best at updating their devices as of late. Now that they're Google-owned, you can expect them to continue pumping out OTAs like madmen. I had the Samsung since the first Galaxy S (Epic 4G), and I'll tell you that Samsung was pathetic at updating their devices back then. Now, they're one of the champs when it comes to manufacturers. When the G2 was around the corner with both of those, the option was gone for me. Was considering the M8 for awhile but HTC seems to have a history of bringing inconsistent hardware on their devices and as of late, their RF performs just average. But, if the rumors are even 80% true, the Galaxy S5 may be a beast.
