Was in Carmel for the weekend visiting a friend. That is the place to enjoy Sprint 3G and 4G at it's finest.

I was getting 3Mb/1Mb on 3G and in town a bit, I was getting 30Mbit/8mbit 4G... It was quite nice.

I reallllly hope something like that could be a thing here soon... guess it's a wait and see...

Whelp... there were 9 updates for LTE.

1 in Reno,NV

1 east of Sparks, NV

1 Smartsville, CA

1 Lockeford, CA

1 Keyes, CA

4 Modesto, CA

Fun Fact.. about 80% of the cell sites in Modesto is now LTE active.

Sparks, NV should receive special Sprint Spark treatment..Or something pun worthy...Just saying.

Reno & Sparks will be getting LTE 800 in the few months. TDD-LTE B41 is a bit away as permitting just began practically a week or two ago across the nation.

How about South Lake Tahoe? My sister would greatly benefit from 800 as she still uses an airave.

Yeah I guess I should have asked about an ETA on that instead.

With how things are going nobody knows. What I hope is that Son also cleaned house for this market. Hopefully this new Saw guy cares more about us than Azzi considering we were one of his core markets at his old job...

Are there any towers near roseville area that are spark activated? How do you force connection onto sprint spark?

Try checking the map that's in lilotimz's sig.  THere's a TDD-LTE map for premier sponsors there. I would look but I can't afford to :(

Ah.  You might do better to ask in that thread then, or maybe PM one of the main guys?  I know they usually don't like to post sponsor info in public threads.

Just so y'all know, this summer I would be lucky to have gotten 10 kilobytes down in my house. Good stuff!

At first I thought that was 200kbps but then I realized you were getting 2mbps which is pretty awesome for 3G. You should change your settings to show results in mbps.

Heck Sprint may have flipped the switch, been enjoying LTE for the last half hour.

Maybe Sprint flipped A switch. I've been getting LTE all day long, but only in about a foot and a half square on my desk. If I move the phone over two feet - 3G, a foot outside the window - 3G, out in front/back of my - 3G. When I set my phone in that square - LTE. What gives!?!?Posted ImagePosted Image
